I listen with tears in my eyes... Tears of laughter and tears of pride & shame at the same time. I served 21 years with the SAP, 7 of those with the Dog Unit in PMB. I worked with many legends like you and people you would know well. Wolf Fourie, Ben Barnard, Jack Haskins, Klippies Stone, Mike Wiid, MC Barnard & Brian Oberholzer to name a few, from your time. We all have similar stories. It is so sad that the SAPS, especially the Dog Units are a fraction of what they used to be. I listen from New Zealand and reflect back what legends and characters we had. Doing mischief with such discipline... Thank you for bringing back some of these memories
Come and tell us, we need to put our stories on record, Koos
Yep. With you there

Thanks Piet for sharing it was most enjoyable. I had tears in my eyes when you shared about the help you received when so thirsty and hungry. I also had a good laugh about your codai shitting his pants.
This has been one of the most enjoyable interviews that I have enjoyed thoroughly.
Thank you very much for sharing your escapades and life stories, gentleman.
Please tell us more. It was an exceptional talk.
Salute / Saluut.
