If a earbud has won the sound category it cannot be the loser in my opinion. Sound is min. 50%!
Depends on how much it wins it with, if difference is small then i think other functions matters

I owned both, Sennheiser has better sound, ok.
but I switched to XM5, because they work better outside: better noise isolation (passive) and better wind noise reduction, however worse controls....

Tried xm5 and momentum. Picked momentum. XM5 feels a bit more comfortable, but the sound on the momentum is better. Not as smooth in other areas, though that’s fine.
Sound quality has more value for me as long as everything else isn’t a hot mess.
I've also just ordered some momentum's. £80 cheaper than the xm5 and I figured sound quality is what bothers me most.
Just hoping the rest won't be a let down! How are you finding the noise cancellation on yours?

I used Sennheiser CX Plus TWS. Unfortunately I lost the charging case 3 times during my travel. Every time the charging case fell out from my trouser pant due to my absent minded nature. I dont dare to carry the case anymore but really miss the fantastic sound of Sennheiser.
I want to keep my charging case at home and intend to carry only the earbuds with me. Would it be possible to switch on/off the earbuds with the app on my phone without carrying the charging case ? Please advise. Thanks.

i have just got the momentum 4 wireless for xmas. I prefer in ear a bit better. Size etc. Would the M3 tru in ear be similar or not as good? Or what would be a good swap for the money? Im exchanging them with Amazon.....thx

Overall I'd say Sound Quality and fit/security is important since my goal now is 150kg bench. I'm just really on the fence with the XM5 because of those eartips man. It's kinda not practical since it'll diminish a lot if you replace them with spinfits. Plus in terms of longevity I think you'll really get the value for what you initially paid for with the Sennies

Agree. I had senheisser M3 however after 2 weeks of light use connection problem begins. Exchanged it with Sony XM5 and I definetely agree with what you said. 🙂

So from 2:15 it sounds like i cant just use 1 of the sonys? Work only lets us have 1 ear bud in, so it sounds like it would make these un usable
Thanks for the awesome video. I bought momentum. The mic is decent in noisy and quiet environments. The issue is while walking even with slight wind, momentum enhances that hissing windy noise tooo much. The sound is awesome with the sound personalization feature on momentum. The fit is very comfortable. I am loving the momentum.

For me, I have high hopes for the upcoming momentum 4 earbuds as Sennheiser is a well respected brand in both casual and audiophile community. Can't wait for the momentum 4😊😊
Will just hope they would be better manufacture than momentum 3, I got twice a momentum 3 true wireless, both the same issues.

I rocked with the sony xm4 the past couple years cause the momentum 2s just didn't have enough battery life, fit, customization, case too bulky, a few other things. But I like Sennheiser's sound signature slightly more than Sony's, and the difference in energy presented at higher volumes is super noticable. Excited for the momentum 4's, hopefully it will be what I hoped the 2s would be.

You mentioned that xm5 have emphasis on mid bass, and mtw3 on sub bass. The bose also has emphasis on sub bass, are tou able to explain the difference between the bose and sennheiser bass since they both have emphasis on sub bass?

@@CoolitzX I’m guessing they sound better than the Sony xm4/5. I know they blow the xm3 out of the water. Audiophile eq sounds great for high volume listening, otherwise “original between pro” is snappy and dynamic. They sound better than a lot of iems imo. It only has aac and sbc though, but I don’t really think that matters. For sure with iPhone and on my tv/ps5 with adapter it’s amazing. Aptx adaptive would have been nice though.

Had the tws3. But the left one failed. So got the xm5s. They are comfortable, but very slippery. The sound is good. But the momentums had a tuning that was more of my likings 😊
Cause tws3 are bad manufacture. I got them twice and same issues 😆

How do you think these compare to the Status Between in terms of sound quality
I have the xm3, which many people prefer over the 4 and 5. The status between 3ANC blows them away. The Sony app is much better though.

just good. but if you do hardcore or sweating to much, you should just by sport earbuds like beats powerbeats. it have great grip and you can even do backflip
Any word on the Sony battery problems that hit the previous 1000XM4? I feel this is critical and basically the only reason I'm not sold on the 1000XM5.

Friends, I bought Sennheiser Momentum True Wireless 3, but it went to the service twice and they sent a new one, but I had a problem with that too and the last money was refunded. Now, the model I am wondering about is the Sony WF-1000XM5 ANC TWS Headset, but unfortunately it is not sold in Turkey and if I buy it from abroad, there will be a service problem. I will live, club house..electro house..rock..I listen to all kinds of music...I need to feel the instrument, sound quality and phone calls are important to me and right now I am left without headphones and senneiser momentum 4 is about to be announced!!!samsun buds 3 is about to be released. ..so what should we do???
For me Sony the best. Also the “older” xm4. I did not try sennheiser, but I prefer an overall balanced and neutral sound because I can appreciate the nuances of different musical genres.
If you havent tried them you cannot say that.
Sennheiser's are more balanced and neutral as per tuning and everyone's testing tho which is a typical Sennheiser thing.
Sony's on the other hand is good as well with a bass boost, but if you want "balanced and neutral", Sennheiser's is a better option.
Some rate the momentums as having a poor sound quality with a hole in the mid range , affecting vocals and some instruments . Maybe the app eq addresses this ???

I just tested xm5 in few days ago, i lost the fun of mtw3 sound that I tested a few months back. So just order mtw3 today.
I’m on my third pair now after having to return my first two under warranty. So... it may sound good, but if it breaks after a few months, I piss on them.
The third pair - I didn't even take it out of the box. I will sell them in their original packaging.
@@adid9594why not go for MTW4? BTW my friend's xm3 still working after several years. But I can't buy things that I don't like. I really love the sound of my mtw3, it's what I am looking for. Luckily I have added an extra warranty after hearing so many complaints about them.
Let me tell you guys this side story. I own both MTW3 and the headphone WH-1000XM4. And you know what, to give a sound quality point for each, I would give the WH-1000XM4 a 4 out of 10 whereas the MTW3 a 7 out of 10.
So anyone owning just one of them can imagine how fking sad for Sony 😂. That's true, actually I bought the Sony WH-1000XM4 first (about 2 years ago) and just bought the MTW3 about 2 months ago and really I feel the Sony one like a trash, can't think of any chance for me to start using it again 😂. The day I bought MTW3 might be the day the Sony WH-1000xm4 was gone. That's just a part of many reasons for why I feel so fking sad for Sony. Goodbye Sony forever 😂

you forgot to mention that Sony's extras are plain stupid, configuration by place is useless, the same, transparency when you talk, and to turn it on manually you have to tap both earpieces !! right one to stop music, and left to turn on transparency !! this is purely idiotic !!!
