One of our favorite places. Love their German food. The desserts are fabulous. We always take one to go. Really a great staff there. A fun place to go and sit on the patio. If you like Cuban food there is the Smokies Cuban Cafe on the Parkway beside Reagan's Pancakes. Its authentic Cuban food owned by a great Cuban family. They have been here for several years. They even have Cuban coffee. Always love your reviews 😎
The food was very good you are right the desserts are excellent. I wish it would have been warm enough to sit outside on the patio. Thanks for the information on the Cuban restaurant. The staff was very friendly.😎😎
German potato salad is a warm salad made with warm bacon and bacon grease and vineger. that menu looked very inviting. cake was so yummy looking and you both liked it a lot.

It was a very loud party right next to us. We almost voiced over the whole video. We waited at times hoping they would not be as loud but that didn't work. Should have gone to back of restaurant to eat. Sorry about that we were as upset as you. But the food was excellent and staff was super nice. Appreciate it Becky

So glad you two reviewed the food there and that Bobbie got the pot roast! We have been going there for years and their pot roast is our favorite. We haven't been there since COVID but it's nice to see that the pot roast is as big as ever which means that they aren't skimping on portion size. Have never tried the German chocolate cake. It is one of my favorites and looked delicious. We are always full after eating so we will get the German chocolate cake to go and share it since it looks so rich! Thanks for the awesome review! Even though I just viewed a year old video I had to comment just how good all that food looked Germans know how to create hearty meals pot roast is one of my favorite foods especially when it's nice and tender your meal john kind of looked like a German version of a pork chop which is also one of my favorite meals great video.

That food looked so delicious. Thats my kind of meal. We will have to stop there in May when we go to Dollywood. We always stay at the Riveredge Campground right across the street from there but never ate there in all the years that we came to Pigeon Forge. Something to look forward too. Stay safe.

Sounds like the German red cabbage was cooked perfect. I love German red cabbage and it's cook with apple cider vinegar, sugar and apples.

Traditional german potato salad is usually warm with a vinegar/mustard dressing and cooked red cabbage. My favorite. Spatzle is usually made with eggs too. My dad's favorite cake was german chocolate too. My mom was half german and made very good german food.

The wild Bear tavern looks really good John and Bobby I will have to talk to my sister see if she's ate there or not she lives up in Sevierville she takes us to all these restaurants when we come up to visit I tell you I like everything about what y'all had to eat I would probably order both and that cake Lord have mercy keep up the good work guys till next video God bless

Red cabbage is so delicious, esp. German-style sweet and sour. Goes so well with the rich sausages or pork dishes.

Everything was very good. When we are home we take leftover with us. But it is hard to when we are on vacation. Sometimes we do not go back to the hotel after we eat.😎😎

I ate there on Friday night. The stew did not take fresh and the meat was rubbery. I have tasted German sour crout (that my great aunt made) and it was so much better. Was disappointed.

Of all the empty tables they could have seated you at, they put you beside a large boisterous group.
