I remember when this place was The Smoky Mountain Pancake House. The restaurant and hotel have been there forever. I remember going there when I was a kid. Great memories! Oh, and I love a good German restaurant!

Thanks for your 101 on German cuisine. Everything looked absolutely delicious. Like you, Christy, I haven't had a large German pretzel in years. As for the other selections, I have to admit that I have hardly had any German cuisine, but I hope to change that after viewing this video.

Hofers for breakfast and baked goods. Bratwurst gravy there is amazing! But for dinner Bodansee is our place. 😊

I have bypassed this place many times. Wrong atmosphere for German Food. My wife would not be open to it, so It’s a pass.
That was our opinion. The atmosphere wasn’t very authentic for German but the food was great!
