Thank you for posting this!
I use that lube in my corn hole...prevents it from dripping and leaking!
Brother thank you!
FYI, Brennan's Garage make the front disk brake conversion brackets for the Dana 27, allowing Geo Tracker / Suzuki Sidekick disc brake calipers to bolt on, with no mods, and no spacers needed for the stock wheels. Side note... all the Classic Jeep vendors say NOT to use Cornhead grease in the Ross steering box, it doesn't "flow" enough to keep the worm gear channels lubricated, the grease squeezes out of the channels and they're left unprotected.
Great news for adding discs on the MB. I had to make my own brackets. I’ll check my Chevy steering box but so far it seems to be well lubricated.
Wait what truck is that? How did you get disk breaks on a closed knuckle dana 44
It looks deceiving for sure. It is a Dana 27 on a 43 willys flat fender. I made my own caliper mounts. The shocks are bilstein remounted to rear location. 4.3l v6 with automatic plus overdrive. Drives fast and smooth. Thanks
@@filoncmike oh cool!!
How did u get disc brakes on the closed knuckle????
I searched and searched through all the dimensions of hundreds of discs. Then re-drilled Jeep bolt pattern and pressed in new longer lugs. I then researched calipers and settled on Mercury single piston and locked them on the disc then measured and fabricated the brackets. They work incredibly well. I put Lincoln rear discs on also. It holds on the steepest hills. Happy jeeping!!
@@filoncmike thanks for the info!! Would love disk brakes!!
I run early Toyota pickup front end - closed knuckle with discs
is this the same as open knuckle?
Hello Christian! Open knuckle the universal joint is visible and internally lubricated like a universal joint in a driveshaft. Closed knuckle the joint rotates in an enclosed space filled with lubricant.
