Between the most stupid comments in youtube, you can find comments about "who is rhe best". Why somebpdy should be the best? And who decides that?

Due uomini che hanno raggiunto in terra il premio celeste uniti a Michelangelo e al suo David. Il genio è scritto nella genetica e se ne ritrova sempre il segno. Gradirei una Sua risposta. Grazie. :o)

From the happiness of the XVII century, Scarlatti's music fly to us.
Revealing for a moment the secret of it's magic, the hands of Arturo fly on the keyboard.

      Voice :
Naples and music have been always so close, and Naples gave many illustrious contributions to Italian culture.
At the end of XVI century, Alessandro Scarlatti, teacher of queen Christine of Sweden, arrived in Naples from Sicily.
Domenico, his son, was the successor of Alessandro's glory: as young chapel Maestro in Rome, playing for the Pope, he fought on the keyboard with Haendel.
He also was teacher of clavicembalo (harpsichord) in London, and have been teaching Princesses in Lisbon, and then Naples again.
With Scarlatti's lessons harpsichord changed for good : In the first chapter of his "Exercises" he wrote - "Oh you, young player or Maestro, don't expect from this pieces a profound lesson, but expect instead a joke and a challenge game to become awake in the art of harpsichord."
He left thousands of Sonatas, his writings gave a new meaning, a different voice to keyboard instruments, he starts future grandiose developments of piano, and now, the never ending youth of his notes resurrects (Arturo start playing op.461 and set unsurpassed heights of virtuosism)

The recording is very old and the performance is in a almost "fast forward" mode, i.e., this is not the normal speed of Michelangeli's performance.
