I'll never forget wandering through a quiet KL street looking for a late night chicken tikka snack earlier this season and stumbling across a little restaurant filled with about 50 Malaysians of all races watching a Liverpool game. Klopp might not have been the reason they were all there -- the Premier League certainly knows how to market itself in Asia -- but there seemed to be an excitement, an energy that Klopp brought to his team that got people all over the world excited about watching the Reds play. They should change The Kop to The Klopp at least for one day.
More than the Premier League being good at marketing the league (are they good at anything?), its the fact that some countries in Asia are former colonies of Britain and hence fans from those places gravitate towards the Premier League by default. For example, India. A lot of Indians watch premier league football, only a small portion in comparison to cricket but there is a connection between Indians and some of the Premier League clubs that feels natural. Same theory can be applied for South East Asia.
@@NavyaSagittarius Not to mention Socialist football club and Red all for one, one for all! Resonates with the Chinese!
I remember ducking into a bar in Lan Kwai Fong, Hong Kong around early 2000s to avoid an 8 rated typhoon warning in HK and i cant remember if the guy was Australian in Hong Kong or a Liverpudlian in Hong Kong but i think i remember he had a blonde mullet and wearing the green LFC kit at the time and we got talking about LFC and i cant remember if a game was on at the time now either!!?! Come to think about it not even sure if the bar was LFC related
There is a huge Liverpool and MU fan base in Malaysia… i personally support Arsenal but i can appreciate how Klopp changed Liverpool
@@antwangoyes I met some folks from Hong Kong during an event in Singapore who were into football as well.
@@kostar500 It's so true. And Singapore too. I took a cab one time in KL with an Indian driver whose cab was decked out in Liverpool stuff. It was cute as hell. And he went back to the Dalglish days, at least. The love for the team was similar to what you'd see on Merseyside.
Only two titles? Let`s not forget: He won during the era of Man City and clubs like Madrid and PSG. That`s like Leverkusen just winning in Germany, who have 300 million less in the bank and paying 40% less for their roster than my hometeam Bayern Munich..
Thank`s Jürgen, for being a real inspiration for every football fan around the world!
we don't care mate even if it was only one nobody will understand what this guy means to us apart from liverpool fans it's not about trophies he is just a great manger and person
Still not good enough making excuses for him he's a great man but an average manager
People who bring up how many titles he's won are actively choosing to ignore the context behind it. Man City have illegally built an advantage over everybody else in the league, nobody else has managed to finish above them in the last 7 years now except for Klopp, he also amassed 95+ points on multiple occasions, reached 3 Champions League finals and won every trophy there is. And he did it with the lowest net spend of the big 6.
Don't talk through your arse@@ThatGuy-vi6cj
Danke Jurgen. one of the finest gentlemen to grace English football.
Always will be our German Scouser YNWA klopp ♥️
I’m crying. Can’t believe this road has ended. He brought a passion and enthusiasm that no one can match.
Grow up FFS
Grateful to have witnessed Klopp's project from day one. He made us believe and gave us the energy and excitement from day one. I will be absolutely crying my eyes out on Sunday 😭😭
Danke Jurgen ❤
He won them 3 PL titles should the FFP officials get their act together.
Thanks, Klopp ❤
Come on!!! It is not a funeral. It has been an honour! Danke Jurgen!
The man once champions of England & Europe, but also the man that made us believe again. Thanks Jürgen
Its so weird seeing the stadium announcer instead of just hearing him at the game 😂😂
yeah crazy
I'm Man city fan premier league will not be the same without klopp
Legend and be missed YNWA
Klopp. 😍😍😍
Liverpool will be okay but it’ll not be the same.
So so True..
Thanks for the fun times Kloppo
Klopp , is very spesial for Liverpool forever 🏆❤❤❤, thanks Jurgen Klopp 🙏
Danke Jürgen
Danke Jurgen. He's truly a Football legend, a Maestro, a man of self discipline, self confidence, funny, etc..... One can go on saying all those things. But in the end, he(Jurgen) is a Meister. He brought back the Old Liverpool that I admired during the Rivalry with the Red Devils. No one can hate his Personality especially. Let him take Rest as long as he needs it. 🙏
Dark times ahead for the Liverpool. Danke Jurgen
Arigatou Jurgen-san 🙏
I always love Liverpool and im sadden to see him go.i have never watched a single match since he was manager but since he became the manager Liverpool was number one for many weeks.i remember prior to him it was bottom 10 and suddenly the top.thats when i know he how wonderful he is.i can't imagine how i feel if i watch the matches and was there
Thanks, Jürgen! All the best. ❤🇩🇪
Jurgen Klopp ❤️ YNWA ❤
We will see our last few punches tmr ❤️
If ManShitty was charged with Financial Fair Play violation Liverpool had won 3 titles 🎉 Kudos to Klopp and LFC, one love.
Wat a wonderful story ❤❤❤
Danke Jurgen
35 years old dude in tears watching this
George Sephtons first match as announcer at Anfield was Kevin Keegan’s debut! Unbelievable.

YNWA Jürgen 👍😁♥
YNWA ❤
Danke Jurgen for changing the way the sports fraternity through your passion for lfc ,eish the fist pumps none shall emulate your ways
The normal one gets wall paintings. This is a small thing that's right in this current world.
Legend,,,7 trophies in 8 years,,,YNWA klopp 👍
He deserves a parade, please Liverpool fans...! 🥺🙏
im going to liverpool in june.. will the memorials stay? Or are they gonna be removed in respect of slot?
We will continue to battle even after hes gone he stayed a year late ran out of ideas I'm glad he realised he couldn't continue to leave Liverpool fc with a fresh start
He may be a legend for Liverpool sadly not for the Premier league as main legends are and will always be fergie wenger guardiola and mourinho
He left Liverpool better than they were. They were absolutely a disgrace before he came along.
He is legend for Liverpool but only one season wonders in the premier league and in champions League
Should be the slogan whenever he will be greeted in England: Danke, Jürgen!
(Translate to English? No need. He did it for nine seasons!) 💌
😢😢
Now I've seen the impressive voice of Anfield.
I use the volume button when he makes announces.😂
Tomorrow I'll be sad too
YNWA
❤
Liverpool. 😍😍😍
😢
Name a street with his name KLOPP STREEET
Couldn’t care less if it’s 1 CL, 1 PL, also let’s forget the 4 other cups he won? The again would rather win 1 with Jurgen than 1 with anybody else. Danke Jurgen, will never forget 4-0 against Barcelona, 5-0 against United at OT and 7-0 against United at Anfield, not to mention countless thrashing of Arsenal (with all due respect of course). Teams feared Liverpool, and to me that was enough, any game Liverpool played, they were expected to win under Klopp.
At least he doesn't have cancer
YNWA❤
Sly sports are Liverpool shareholders
It's sad that Jurgen is quitting with Liverpool as the third-best club in England, and not how deserves to be remembered, as second best.
He should NEVER have told anyone he was quitting until after the season had finished. Since he made that statement, the team have been on half speed. Couldn't even beat Man U at Old Trafford in the FA cup or league match. Shameful. The pathetic displays at Everton,West Ham and at home to Crystal Palace helped hand that title to Man City as well. Hopefully this new coach will put some passion and determination back in their game to knock Man City off their perch.
👋🏻👋🏻
great to see haters here getting triggered…. 😅😂👏 .. im loving it. keep it coming…😊
I agree.. it shows how they never have love for their own managers…
As he not gone yet hurry up go 😂
They know it might be another 30 years before they win the league again lol
Pep made Klopp retire.
Swapped klopp for slot!!
YNWA
This man deserves better than liverpool.
Season wasted by the owners greed
Going to miss his fist pumps

Is this News, or Entertainment?
News. And bigger news than any crap out there
Breaking news!
@@peterharwa9472 (Heart) breaking news?!
The only liverpool manager the lift their first premier leauge trophy with not one fan inside the stadium 😂
get some air man
எல்லா சாத்தான் கூட்டமும் சேர்ந்து அழிக்கத்துவங்கி விட்டதுகள். கடவுள தான் காப்பாற் வேண்டும்.😂
Hahahaha 🤣🤣🤣🤣
Where's open bus league cup parade 😂
Happy for the man. Liverpool exhausted him. He deserves a break from them. Hope he doesn't come back and joins a rival and breaks them in half. Good riddance. He deserves better
Amazing manager ✅
Amazing team ✅
Amazing club ✅
Idiot fans ❌
I have a feeling he’ll be back in 2 years when pep leaves
We all love Jurgen Klopp but......... Maybe a new manager might win more.😬
They wont
Mate trophies aren't everything. The memories Klopp and his team gave us will last forever... very grateful I was able to witness Kloppo
Thank u, but not enough to be legend... Sorry. "Legend" is not a word for anyone. He should have won at least 1 more league and 1 more champions league. Now That is worthy of a LEGEND
Bill shankly and klopp are legends
By your logic, Shankly was no legend then.
@@fromthefountofyouth whaaaaaaaaaa
Glad he's leaving and not winning the league.
Did he really do that much though?
Its the footballers that score goals and win games, not the manager.
Yeah but he is a world class manager and yes they do ocntrol the way the teams play
clearly u dont understands how football works…. it’s the manager’s job to pick those players in the first team, so the players can score n win games… duh..🙄😑🤣
@@reezevlog yeah ikr fr
Overrated. Good riddance.
