Yes it is food grade certified 😉
You have to be very careful which product you buy. Some dusts will say on them that they're for "decoration only" but some bakers will use them liberally on edible items anyway. When you buy make sure the container specifies "food grade" and FDA approved. There was one cake pop maker who made gorgeous treats using the dusts, saying that because the dusts were "non toxic" it meant they were perfectly fine to eat. Crayons and glitter are non-toxic too but you still don't want to use them on edible treats.

Be careful about the dust, they are not all equal, some of them are bitter tasting, they are beautiful but who wants to bite into a beautiful bitter strawberry. I always buy the "HomeHere" dust from Amazon.
@@maronichalyles7515 yes I agree I had tried a gold luster dust for cake pops thank God I tried one before I sent the order it tasted awful very metallic bitter taste I ended up throwing out the batch and redoing them without any luster dust I would’ve felt terrible serving that to a client I will try the home one that you suggest thank you very much God bless stay safe

I tried the that one on my strawberries and the rose gold color did not stick not sure what I did wrong 😭
Apply the dust as soon as the chocolate sets, avoid putting it in the fridge for too long and make sure there’s no moisturize, otherwise it won’t stick.
