I think for indians wishing to get CPA Canada.. should go ACCA..for reasons that it will give you reciprocal membership directly! Means you can avoid 3 day CFE! N for now indian CA has to appear for capstone 1 n 2 addionally..it's not directly CFE.. ACCA you can do sitting here in India n cost will be around 1 lac.. :)

Also, licensing and degree are different. ACCA reciprocity will not give you license. I did a webinar with an ACCA working in Canada recently. He told me that. Which means you’ll be a CPA on name, not by license. Hope that clears the understanding.

Also, as regards the Professional experience exemption, I was told to obtain a document-by-document evaluation (ICAP) of my university degrees from WES which costed me around CAD 200. I still await on my approval for the Professional experience exemption.

Fresh Good Standing Letter was mailed a week back by ICAI, with 2 more weeks remaining to enroll for the CFE I am really tensed now. Is there a mail ID when we can write to expedite the process. Thank you Nidhi and Namisha for sharing your experience. This video is informative for me. But I want to ask few questions, if anyone of you can help me . I am planning to appear in May 2021. As the exams held only in canada , so I need to move there before exams. My CRS is 450 and I am not sure to get EE with this CRS . How will I come to canada for appearing in exams. And if I am having CRS 450 or below Is it worth for me to give exam, as if I could not get invitation.
