This game has got to be the best 1v1 I've ever played. GenRa and I had a duel for the ages with flanking, direct assaults, air and helicopter plays. It had everything. Division 2, Round 3 vs GenRa. This is game 1 of 2.

Hi mr vulcan could you make a warno tutorial video that is for ‘intermediate’ players? Like, not “heres how to deploy a unit or check LoS” but “ok youve played warno and other rts games. You know how the game works. You can play it at a decent level. Here’s what you need to do to play effectively / win.” I need help lol

I will definitely be making tutorials in future but I'm waiting for the game to release and stop being so many gameplay mechanic changes first. That way they don't become out dated every month.

Fun game! Interesting that your opponent chose the 11th. I got the impression he tried to "cheese" his way to victory by hunting your command vehicles. Happy to see that strategy is not as effective as it was in WG:RD!

I love the flow of this game.
I'm working on a MOD which is really based on realism as much as possible, first in terms of units speed by matching the real physical one, secondly by reflecting the real life performances of the units and weapons. "It's called Maverick simulation level realism MOD". Anyone who wants to give it a try and to comment on it is welcome! I'm more for a simulation level realism even if the gameplay may not be liked by those who got used to the rudimentary and default game mode. The major problem is that the maps are too small for what I want to achieve, but it's still fun like this too even if one battle takes some 2 or 3 times more to finish!

I was in your shoes,the biggest game changer for me is blackhawk your infantry, spam tanks use AA and AT or Nplm aircraft all at once, you capture the air you win the game. I also reccomend rushing the points closest asap especially in a 1v2
kinda depressing that there entire tactic seemed to be around just sniping commanders. Really seemed like the moment he failed to keep doin that was the moment you won the game as they just fell apart after you put a stop to most of it.
It is punished much harder in this game than in Wargame for example.
Is it possible to play against bluefor with redfor? In the previous games it was not possible.

recommended specs are 4cores 8gb ram and a 3gb vc. i am using 8cores 16gb ram and 8gb rtx vc, why i am getting 25-30fps?

Want to ask to those who play. What is best in Warno compare to Wargame ? I don't play Warno but everytime I watch some of that video I assume it's a poor copy of wargame... am i wrong ?
The graphics and sound design. Also the fact the game is divided by division as opposed to nation, meaning that your deck can have starting strengths and weaknesses you have to work around when putting it together. It also means that you want to select the area of the map you fight on based on your division.... open ground? Armoured with more numerous and better tanks... City? Mech Infantry for their Incendiary weapons and satchel charges ... long travel distance to objectives? Airborne gets forward deploy and lots of helis. I normally play Mech Infantry and have my buddy with his Armored go first on the attack with me behind. This all adds up to there being a lot less unused "dud" units... if your US Airborne only gets IPM1s, you are forced to use them if you want any decent tanks at all. Less content atm, but with every passing week they are getting there. Like 18 divisions atm.
Everything, except for amount of content at the moment (fewer maps, nations, units) and hardware requirements.
1) QoL features: LOS-tool, unit orders during deployment, visible unit orders, more unit commands (fast move and unload, return fire etc), ability to tab through units, smart orders, deck modification in lobby, deck filters etc etc
2) Sound and graphics
3) Less sweaty and more varied deck meta due to division system. In WG:RD there are a ton of units, but there's no reason to use anything but the meta, because why would you? Deck building within divisions results in more varied and more asymmetrical gameplay. For example, you have VDV with great infantry and helicopters, but terrible AA and mediocre tanks. The 79th has T-80UDs and great artillery, but a thin infantry tab. KdA has awesome infantry and BUKs for AA, but only T-55s. In WG you would build a deck with VDV elite infantry and cheap KdA spam infantry, T-80s for tanks, BUKs for AA, Ka-50s from VDV... and so would every other half competent player. Rest of the units would be gathering dust in the armory, previously used by some beta tester.
4) New gameplay mechanics (forward deploy for para and recon units, leader system, unit morale)
5) New unit types and functions (crew-served weapons, satchel charge pioneers, smoke for vehicles)
6) Better infantry infantry and armored gameplay (infantry squads are not bullet sponges anymore)
7) Less cheese. Helirush isn't a valid tactic as you can't take out the main base, unit transports are better sold to recover points rather than use as suicide recon.
8) Better unit balance due to remodeled unit costs and division system. In WG:RD a five point difference to either direction could make the unit underpowered or overpowered. In WARNO the prices and income has been doubled, so adjustments can be made at smaller increments. Also the units have to be balanced only in the context of the division, and not in the context of all units of that nation, as in WG:RD.

The AA in this deck is rather weak
It's good game but too MP focused at the moment, AI is garbage if you play SP only. I am waiting for Campaign mode really, also game is too fast compared to SD2. Otherwise looks and sounds fantastic.
I would say this is your luckiest game so far. Since the other player did so well in punishing you for the lack of recon.
You can play 60$ game with 99 dlc division 3$ for every division with 1 new vehicle model per division!

As a huge fan of the Wargame series, I have no idea what people are smoking when they praise this game, it just seems worse in nearly every way to Red Dragon, (at least in its current state, don''t even get me started on how it was at release)

How different is WARNO from Red Dragon? I'm getting absolutely smoked by every campaign in Red Dragon.
There's dumb shit happening like Phantoms unable to kill helicopters and then getting killed by Shilkas (Which I find unrealistic, as one phantom should have enough missiles and bomb payload to cause far more mayhem).
One issue regarding helis and aircraft is that they fly unrealisticaly low, making advanced AA systems useless and aircraft vulnerable.

For me still too leathal. While i love the seting the gameplay still dont works for me. Rather play steed div 2.

Yes and no. I borrows some elements from steel division 2, but the game is set in a different era, different factions, different maps, and has some unit styles that aren’t in steel division 2, like helicopters or ifv’s.
As far as I know, steel division has no ifv’s and I know it has no helicopters.
