Yeah ya just can't beat a skandic especially having the low range. Beautiful country there,lots of birch and a bit of rabbit/moose sign too. Sure is nice to explore and not always be on a groomed trail. Excellent video and its a good thing your buddy on the polaris had you breaking trail for him 🤣🤣🤐.

Great video on the capabilities of the Skandic off trail! Pretty amazing! I'm looking at either a Skandic or Expedition. I do ride trails up to 100 miles or so in a day. I wonder what your experience is regarding the comfort of the Skandic on longer groomed trail rides, especially dealing with the usual rough sections?
@@spoonmonkey8971 Thanks! I guess I'm most wondering how the wide track feels and affects handling on the trail. Is the machine a lot "heavier" and bullish feeling in turns, for instance? I'm currently running a 2014 Renegade adrenaline, which is my only frame of reference.
From what ive heard the real problem is the ds2 skis the keel is to big and that has the tendency to throw you off the sled in a surprise on hard packed trails and lakes.
The Skandic is very cabable on the trails, very surprising. I've done some 350 km rides in one day but most of my time is spent outside the trails. Considering your needs, I'd go for the Expedition !

If you ride trails 50% and boondock 50% expedition all the way.

Pas vraiment. J’ai tout ce dont j’ai de besoin. Si je voulais vraiment de la whip, pour que ça vaille la peine, je prendrais un 850.
