- With Travis Pastrana on the sidelines recovering from past injuries, Brandon Semenuk and Keaton Williams lead the Subaru Motorsports USA charge on the legendary roads around Shelton, Washington for the 2024 Olympus Rally. Surprisingly dry and dusty conditions face the teams through the two days of competition, but the usual Pacific Northwest weather makes an appearance to keep everyone on their toes.

This reminds me of Colin MacRae, the multi-champion of rally car race in Subaru. RIP
Actually Colin McRae was only once champion with Subaru.
First rally event I attended! Went with my dad and had a great time chatting with some of the competitiors and crew. Even got to chat with Lance Smith for a few minutes while waiting for cars to come in to service Sunday morning. Conditions were pleasant for spectating and the other spectators were fun to chat with.
Looking forward to coming back next year!
If you want to get even closer, look into volunteering! Events always need volunteers and you can do anything from helping block off roads to working a time control where you interact with competitors. And if you're craving another rally fix come on down to the Oregon Trail Rally which is May 17-19 (my home event).
This deserves more views!

Such good stuff. But he needs more competition to make it more exciting.
As much as I love Subaru, having no real competition is boring. That's part of the reason why the blobeye STi is so appealing, its not just because of what it represents but also the journey against other competing manufacturers that its went though to become a successful rally car.

Now it is literally one person running away. It's ridiculous.
Also, just because it has been going on for years does not make it better.
you're not wrong. unfortunately rally is expensive and sponsors are hard to come by for several reasons.
At the previous rally, Barry McKenna beat him on 7 of 14 stages straight up, eventually losing due to a flat tire....
So you should all join then perhaps you're the missing pieces.
