- Brandon Semenuk and the Subaru Motorsports USA team get down to business, with multiple rally tests in different locations to fine tune the new WRX rally car. From the technical and jump filled roads of Quebec to the fast and flowing Kentucky gravel, the team puts extensive miles on the car to develop the setup and pinpoint any lurking weaknesses. As its competition debut approaches, the iconic blue and yellow livery is applied and the WRX is revealed to the public for the first time at Boxerfest.

Also, in the slowmo, the new car just seems to TURN quicker than the older car. It looks like it turns closer to the shorter wheelbase WRC cars.

I wish there were more competition for these cars and drivers to go against. Hardly anyone else competing in the ARA really has the funding to seriously compete against the Subaru/VSC works cars.

This might be out of topic a bit, but it definitely still blew my mind that this iconic blue and yellow/neon green livery was initially a cigarette brand that was put as the title sponsor in a car.... I mean if Subaru didn't pull that off in 1993, we might never see a blue and yellow STi till now, and a reminder the first blue and yellow iconic rally boxer was not the Impreza WRX....
Love the vehicle montage, paying homage Colin McRae put Subaru on the global map. He was so exciting to watch.
Got to check out the new rally car at Boxerfest 2023 me and my teammate for NASA sim rally X did a walk around of the car coming out soon on my channel. Got to talk to Scott Speed about sim rally and real rally even got super close to Scott in the iracing simulator and Beat the Bucky challenge in 2nd place Bucky got 3rd. Can’t wait for the auto shows hopefully the car will be there , I’m working the simulators with Subaru hope to see everyone there. Go team VSC !!!!🎉🎉❤

I've always been curious, at what point do these teams bin a shell of a car in a wreck? Is it safe to assume that VSC has built a backup shell for a situation like that or is there not very many scenarios where they do not deem the chassis repairable? I can understand if they bend one or two junctions then they will repair that but let's say a unbelievable crash like pastrana had many many years ago in Colorado.. I assume that shell was scrapped?

Interesting that Subaru alone, allows their new VB chassis to be used as a rally car, to help promote their brand but they don’t use anything from the car besides the body. Nothing like faking the funk. They should have used the famous new fancy SPT transmission in this rally car! I wonder why they didn’t. End rant. Thumbs down.
