- In this Film, Justus and I travel across the country to the great state of Montana to meet up with friends and family. There is no real plan with this this adventure and we let the current sweep us wherever it may! Sometimes that makes for the best memories. Many fish were caught to go along with our icy fingers, and I will definitely remember this trip for a long while.
Thank you so much for your time, and watching our videos, We look forward to hearing your input on our next films!

Awesome story dude, really showed how great it can be here. Those are some of my favorite spots to fish although I don't get over there much in the winter times. Come back when the salmon flies sweep up that canyon, truly heaven.

That is one of my favorite places to fish!!!!
We sure had a blast! Thank you for sharing the water with us!
My 14-year old girl saw this and is pissed.
Lol haha well please relay our apologies that was not our intention.
Haha can I ask why she was so upset?
@@CalledCollectiveMedia I'm just joking. At one point you said, "I set the hook like a 14-year old girl." So I was joking with you that my 14-year old girl was pissed about the comparison. :)
I don't even have a 14-year old. :) Just a lame shot at humor. :)
@@MarkEWallace hahahaha no no that totally went right over my head hahaha... I do apologize to all the 14 year old girls who probably set the hook way better then me ahaha

Montana is one of my bucket list places to go fish! Absolutely beautiful! Great editing work by the way! Really enjoyed the transitions and story telling was tight!
Nothing better the just slowly dow. And enjoying whats in front of is to enjoy the moment!
Yeah sometimes I have a hard time slowing down and just enjoying the things God has given me right in the moment, but this trip was impossible not to enjoy hahaha!
Man what’s keeping from planning your next trip to Montana right now?!? I say just do it!

🤙🤙
Instagram vs Reality haha. That is correct!?
Haha 😂 the truth is revealed
This is what I’ve been talking about! Trust fund babies with unlimited funds, time and the best equipment. I’m the guy sleeping in the back of my car with the tape patch waders eating noodles out of the can. Don’t get close cause the beer farts are bad today. One other thing - F Montana, I’m on the Clearwater still trying to dredge up a tug from a steely.
Hi Josh,
I’m afraid you’ve got us pegged wrong. We are not trust fund babies at all. And no, we do not have unlimited funds/time but what resources we do have we allocate to getting to go enjoy the same sport you enjoy.
As far as equipment, I have been blessed by my time guiding at my local fly shop for 8 dollars an hour to have access to really nice equipment for very cheap or sometimes free. I also worked for ross reels in montrose while I stayed at an employees house with no running water or air conditioning and we used a sprinkler for our shower which explains why I have a couple of nice reels. I’ve spent Many nights sleeping out of my car hopping from river to river.
As far as the waders go, I’ve had the same pair of waders now for 7 season, needless to say I’ve been ringing out my pants every after every use and experience the same level of discomfort that you do with having your waders filled up. Haha I think the only thing we don’t have in common based off your comments is the beer farts, I am sorry I do not have a solution for that.
I’m sorry if we have somehow offended you, but I bet if we met up on the water sometime you would see we work step for step with you and that we actually have a lot in common through an incredible sport!
We wish the best for you, and hope that you get your hands on some chrome!
God bless!
@@CalledCollectiveMedia relax dudes & dudettes, I was just yanking on your wader straps. I’m always jealous of guys that bring pretty women to the river. We all have earth ships ( bodies ) to enjoy while we’re here so how you enjoy your time is of no concern of mine. Sorry if you took that out of the humor box I tried to put it in. Live Long and Prosper 🖖
@@joshreed7102 No your good brother!
As far as the noodles in the can... Tony's seasoning will change your life. A little bit of that will make any meal square.
How long have you been getting after the Steelhead up there? I heard the populations are doing pretty poorly which is a real shame.
@@CalledCollectiveMedia 10% of the fisherman catch 90% of the fish is true story. I live in Orofino ID.
@@joshreed7102 Awesome Area! What do you do for a living?
I liked the video until you put down yourself down by comparing yourself to a fourteen old girl….I don’t understand. Your videography is beautiful…I guess a little more mindfulness with your comments might be considered. Be well.
I think he was saying that scientifically speaking a full grown man is stronger than a 14 year old girl. That's the way I took it. I could be way off though. Also could have meant that the elaborate plan of a trout is to reach its true identity by the age of 14. But what do I know haha. I'm just a loser watching youtube videos of things I'll never be able to accomplish
Hi Lori,
I see that you are an educator based off your video in your channel, so thank you for doing that! I have had many teachers have an incredible impact on my life especially in the critical years you are teaching.
Yes.. being mindful with our comments is very crucial in todays culture, unfortunately I paid dearly for this comment and have been chewed out by multiple parents now about how there 14 year old daughters were very upset about this comment.. I have lost many subscribers. Thank you for pointing out my blunders, I will make sure to not single out this demographic due to the sensitivity that is at stake. Next time I will simply say I could’ve set the hook better or perhaps I will say I set the hook like a 14 year old boy. These 14 year old girls are tough as nails and are making me pay and after this experience they have proven their point and I now have zero doubts that they all set the hook much better then I do. My ignorance in the moment has become very clear. Please forgive us if we have offended you with our I’ll timed riff against 14 year old women.
@@CalledCollectiveMedia Thank you for your thoughtful consideration and reply. Goodness knows I get it wrong every day. Before I sleep I ask myself, “where did I get it right, wrong and how can I be a better person with my words, thoughts and actions.” I am a constant work in progress and pray everyday for guidance. I certainly am an improved person because of my willingness to be vulnerable and exam my regrets to help me define how I do want to feel and connect with others and my world. I sense your kindness and open-heartedness through the imagery and connections presented in your video. I look forward to observing more down the line. Be well, Lori Lee
