  • Strong composition is one of the essential ingredients of landscape photography, yet many still find the ability to make strong images difficult and elusive. While the art of composition is learned through practice and experience, there are fundamental concepts and approaches that can help to improve your ability to make stronger images. In this presentation, Robert Rodriguez Jr. shares some of what he thinks are the key elements of strong composition in landscape photography and how you might apply them to your own image making.

Robert has a great sense of calmness in the delivery of his work and is a great speaker along with being a great photographer. He also has some other excellent videos on printing and framing worth checking out here on youtube.

One key thing that we should take away here is that like music has impacted Robert's photography. We all need to search for that other part of our lives that will impact our photography!

Fantastic... Love the delivery and deliberation. Also, as an amateur I really appreciated the final part on the process. One of the rare moments where I had the opportunity to see through the artists eye and follow the artistic flow
    Thank you very much

Pictures are dull often without any interesting focus point

B&H get your act together, the screen while being too big for the room, the bottom edge is sitting on something, causing folds in the screen. Also you have a window behind presenter , Appalling presentation setup

A bit too much philosophy, in my opinion. Fuzzy, couldn't learn anything. A pity, because the pictures are very good.
