Huge shout out to all the people this project is associated with! I heard this started as a side project, as people were throwing around ideas and what not. I'm so happy this got the feedback it needed and deserved. It all made such a big step towards making the gaming community inclusive for everyone. And that's just scratching the surface of what this actually means to and for people around the world :) Once again, remarkably done! Seeing as i'm a ps4 user, I really hope sony and the rest follows :) It will mean so much to so many more :)

You should check the quadstick if you've never heard of it, quite expensive tho. But I heard it work with the adaptive controller.

What other simple games would you recommend for a setup like this? OT student here working on my doctoral capstone project.

Eric, perhaps these technologies will be just as useful for our warriors now......

The pricing of this device is discriminating and a bad joke! 69$ for a simple button? I could never afford such a device. Shame on you, Microsoft! 😡

TetraGamer That is definitely one of the downsides to the controller. The unfortunate thing is that buttons and switches are somewhat expensive anywhere you look. The controller was made so you could adapt it to any type of setup depending on ones specific deficit or set of deficits. It’s just super unrealistic to try to include everything anyone would need with an issue. The only way to effectively set up something for an individual is to understand their abilities and work with those. Prior to the XAC that would mean building everything from scratch and would cost an insane amount of money. The XAC takes all of the custom fabrication part out of it and actually makes gaming a lot cheaper and achievable for someone who wants to engage. Thanks for watching though!

@@OTUnleashed My friend built me a similar setup out of a normal Joystick and some Buttons for 5$ each. I programmed the drivers and the whole setup was about 70$. It could be adaptet for other deficits as well. So that is not true.

TetraGamer Oh wow! That’s fantastic! Sounds like you know what you’re doing when it comes to tech and accessibility! Do you and/or your friend do this for others with similar deficits? Like a non-profit or something like that? Sounds like you could really help people at a low cost if you had something like that in place. Would you mind if I asked what type of injuries or deficits you have? Also, what are some of the other things you’ve done to make the world work a little easier for you? I’m always trying to learn new ways to help people. Would love your input.

Sorry this Tetra cannot agree so much time and effort has gone into this controller and have read they are ready to share its labours with the other players in field for nothing. Think of all the rip off devices out their I can only think of Quadstick who are not ripping us off. The switches going in the device that's the real stinker for me £30 for a £3 to make buddy switch no buddy of mine. :)

@@curbyi76 well i've created a similar setup and the costs were about 70$ for the complete controller. It sadly "died" after 5ys and my friend who built it died last year. See the concept here: czcams.com/video/mtWaYadm5u4/video.html
