    I just learned about this plant and im obsessed they are so cute, wanted to add some into my tent that i grow cannabis in as a companion crop to keep gnats down. Your set up is super nice and giving me some inspiration for other rack set ups in my place. Thank you for putting out valuable knowledge on these little guys.

    Brilliant Setup! very aesthetic and efficient. Thank you for sharing and excellent information, as the rest of your videos.

      I have always gone for efficiency... The aesthetics are new 🤣

    These are gorgeous! What a collection! Would you say you are the original creator of many new species?

    • @AndrewsStickyLeaves
      @AndrewsStickyLeaves  Před měsícem +1

      No, I just make a few for myself. Mark Rubnitz, Damon Collingsworth, Bob beer and larger companies like BCP are the originators of a lot of the sought after hybrid's and cultivars currently on the market

    YAY! Finally! I love these kind of video!
    I just bought those Barrina T8s and then I read on their website that the temperature is 2900K, so I thought about returning them, since the ideal temperature for carnivorous plants is 6500K. But after seeing your video and the one made by Carnivorous Plants Hub, I am deciding to keep them. They're still in the box... I already use Barrina T5 pinkish white and Yescom 225 white. The T5s colour them up nicely, but not nearly as well as the Yescoms.

      Yay glad you like the videos! And I agree they aren't 100% perfect but they are cheap to buy and run per month which IMO makes them my favourites

    Beautiful plants! What kind of bookcase/shelf is that? Looks like it works great

    Really nice setup! How long do you run your lights? I use a combo of the 5000k and 6500k Barrina t8 lights

      @@AndrewsStickyLeavesI’m wondering if I’m giving mine more light than they need. I have 3 tubes per shelf at 13 hours a day. I love the form factor though! Perfect for my wire shelves.

    Awesome set up! Do you add pure gypsum powder to your soil mix for your gypsicolas?

    So your plants are all in succulent or carnivore stage in the same climate? Do you do anything to force dormancy?

    • @AndrewsStickyLeaves
      @AndrewsStickyLeaves  Před měsícem

      I don't force dormancy besides removing the growdomes in October. I think about 90% of my plants are pretty good at following the season even under growlights. It was 100% when they were in a sunroom:)

      @@AndrewsStickyLeaves your lights and power supplies put out a ton of heat. Do you have ac in that room?

    • @AndrewsStickyLeaves
      @AndrewsStickyLeaves  Před 8 dny

      @@AffinityPhoto I have a small portable AC unit. But tbh the TV in my living room puts out more heat. These LEDs are quite efficient :)
      The grow domes help to keep up the humidity when it gets hot, but as long as your pings dont have prolonged temperatures above 25C without a nighttime drop I wouldn't worry.
