Whether one reaches heaven or hell finally is only dependent on whether they are in a state of grace (no mortal sins) at the time of death. You are right in that. However, still the traces of sin may remain (what we call kadangal in Malayalam ref: Swargasthanaya pithave). So, as per the teaching of the Church, there can be 3 possibilities: 1. If one does not die in a state of Grace (has mortal sins not confessed), he/she will go to hell. They can never go to heaven even if we pray for them. 2. അച്ഛാ പിതാവായ ദൈവം പ്രവാചകരിലൂടെ ആത്മാവാം ദൈവം മനുഷ്യരെ പറഞ്ഞ പഠിപ്പിച്ച് അവരെ ആ വഴിയിലൂടെ ദൈവത്തിൻറെ ഇഷ്ടം നിറവേറ്റാൻ ആഗ്രഹം ഉള്ളവർ നിറവേറ്റി പിന്നെ യേശുക്രിസ്തു ഭൂമിയിൽ വന്നതിനുശേഷം പറഞ്ഞു പഠിപ്പിച്ചു പ്രവർത്തിച്ചു ഈ എൻറെ ശരീരം പക്ഷിക്കുകയും പാനം ചെയ്യുകയും ചെയ്യുന്നവർക്ക് നിത്യജീവൻ ഉണ്ട് എന്ന് ആ വാക്ക് വിശ്വസിക്കുക തന്നെ ചെയ്യണം യഥാർത്ഥ ക്രിസ്ത്യാനികൾ പിന്നെ യേശുക്രിസ്തു പറഞ്ഞു നിങ്ങൾക്ക് ഒരു മധ്യസ്ഥനെ ഉള്ളൂ. അതായത് എനിക്ക് അല്ലെങ്കിൽ അച്ഛന് ഒരു മധ്യസ്ഥനെ ഉള്ളൂ പിതാവിൻറെ അടുത്തേക്ക് പോകാനുള്ള മധ്യസ്ഥൻ അത് ഞാനാണ് എന്നിലൂടെ അല്ലാതെ ആരും സ്വർഗ്ഗരാജ്യത്തിൽ പ്രവേശിക്കുകയില്ലെന്ന് ഈശോ പറഞ്ഞു. അപ്പോൾ ഈശോയിൽ വിശ്വസിക്കുകയും ഈശോയുടെ തിരിച്ചറിയൽ രക്തങ്ങൾ ഭക്ഷണവും പാനീയവുമായി സ്വീകരിക്കുകയും ഹൃദയത്തിൽ യേശുക്രിസ്തു എൻറെ ദൈവമാണെന്ന് വിശ്വസിക്കുകയും ചെയ്യുന്ന ഒരു വ്യക്തിക്ക് നിത്യജീവൻ ഉറപ്പായിട്ടും ഉണ്ട് അത് ദൈവം പറഞ്ഞ വാക്കാണ് ഈ വാക്കിനെ വിശ്വസിക്കാത്തവർക്കും ഉറപ്പില്ലാത്തവർക്കും മാത്രമാണ് മറ്റുള്ളവർക്ക് വേണ്ടി ബലിയർപ്പിച്ച് സ്വർഗ്ഗത്തിൽ പോകാം എന്നുള്ള ധാരണ മരണപ്പെട്ട വ്യക്തിയാണ് ഇത് സ്വീകരിക്കേണ്ടത് ഇപ്പോൾ നടക്കുന്നത് ഈശോ അർപ്പിച്ച ബലിയുടെ ഓർമ്മയാചരണം മാത്രമാണ് ഈ അപ്പം ഭക്ഷിക്കുകയും ഈ രക്തം പാനം ചെയ്യുകയും ചെയ്യുന്നതിലൂടെ ഈശോയുടെ ശരീരവും രക്തവുമാണ് നമ്മൾ ഭക്ഷിക്കുകയും കുടിക്കുകയും ചെയ്യുന്നത് അങ്ങനെ ചെയ്യാത്തവർക്ക് നിത്യജീവൻ കൊടുക്കാൻ നമ്മൾ ഇടയ്ക്ക് കയറി മാപ്പിസ്തം പ്രാർത്ഥിക്കാൻ നമുക്കെന്താണ് യോഗ്യത ആകെയുള്ള യോഗ്യത ഈശോയെ ദൈവമായി സ്വീകരിക്കുക വിശ്വസിക്കുക എന്നുള്ളതാണ് ഇതിന് അധികമായി സ്വർഗ്ഗത്തിൽ നിന്നൊരു ദൂതൻ വന്നു പറഞ്ഞാലും വിശ്വസിക്കരുത് എന്നാണ് വിശുദ്ധ ഗ്രന്ഥം പഠിപ്പിക്കുന്നത് നരകത്തിൽ കിടക്കുന്ന ഒരാളെ സ്വർഗ്ഗത്തിലേക്ക് കൊണ്ടുപോകാൻ ഒരു വഴിയുമില്ല ദൈവമാണ് ഈ കാര്യങ്ങളൊക്കെ തീരുമാനിക്കുന്നത് മനുഷ്യരല്ല ഈ ഭൂമിയിലുള്ള മനുഷ്യൻറെ ജീവിതമാണ് ശുദ്ധീകരണ സ്ഥലം ഇതിൽ അധികമായി വിശുദ്ധ ഗ്രന്ഥത്തിന് യോജിക്കാത്ത കാര്യങ്ങൾ പഠിപ്പിച്ചാൽ അതിന് വേറെ ശിക്ഷ ദൈവത്തിൽ നിന്നും ഉണ്ടാകും എന്നു കൂടി ചിന്തിക്കുക

Is there any intrinsic "virtue" at all in any qurbana, except that the 'priests' make a worldly o ving out of it, which ofcourse is precious in itself?
