- During a scouting mission on planet Hesperia, a Death Guard kill team found the entrance of a dense network of underground passages. The Sisters have learned that the Death Guard on the planet Hesperia has managed to infiltrate their order's sacred catacombs, where important relics are laid out on display, alongside the bodies of long-buried Sisters. Such a shame cannot be tolerated. The sisters are on the march to expel the offenders from that sacred place. Who will prevail?

Many thanks for the nice and clean unit introduction! That was very helpful.
But now about the game - it was very interesting to see a compendium team tear apart sisters. The resilient rolls were above average and that along with the unfortunate cancelation of very smelly bbq at the start of the battle was kinda decisive.
Also when all but the heaviest guns are not enough to take out a plague marine I have a feeling that a whip might not be the best choice of weaponry :)

There's only so much encouragement a whip can do, next to the withering hail of blight bullets. The Sisters of Battle have added a number of new martyrs to the canon this day.

at 14:30 the wounds from Hot are Mortal Wounds, and those can't be ingored with disgustingly resilent
Mmm are you sure? Because the rule says "each time this operative would lose a wound", it doesn't specify about mortal wounds, technically a mortal wound is also a lost wound. Is there any faq we missed about it?
@@TabletopWarbands well MW always count as separate pool of wounds so there are rules that are just against MW or normal wounds, but never for ignoring both
@@januszmanczak161 I understand your point of view and you made me doubt. I've been looking around for answers on this, as I expected many people have doubts on this point. Because GW writes the rules like… well never mind. However, many on the internet agree that a mortal wound is still a lost wound, so DR works for mortal wounds as well. I would not know 🤷♀😅
@@TabletopWarbands Well GW at its finest, actually my friend who played DG in KT few times himself didn't used it to ignore MW since we are both more of 40k players where those both types of wounds are strictly separate for any type of ignoring or reducing dmg, guess perhaps not so for KT
@@januszmanczak161 No KT is a bit different, there are a lot of rules different from 40K but with the same name so it's hard to understand everytime what it's suppose to be, especially because GW doesn't write them well 🙄

if they weren't playing against death guard sisters would have def won, also kinda nice to see a compendium team win once ^^
i really wish they did the actual teams more like the compendium ones, as i like the fireteam mechanic. i like the specialist but would have been cooler if teams only could maybe pick 3-4 specialist maybe even as a trade off
