First time watching your pod-cast and it’s great, looking forward to more.
Just heard the new intro music to the podcast. It’s perfect- love it
Crazy how I can relate to them, even tho I am only of Italian descent not heritage, my mothers grandfather is of napolitan and Calabrian blood which is crazy idk how that happen, they immigrated to Michoacán Mexico in the early 1920-1930s, and my grandmother ever since was raised to be Mexican, but it’s sad how it stripped my Italian culture away from my mothers side, one thing tho was my nonos osso bucco recipe, only thing that ever stayed, but I guess they got so close to Mexico cause it reminded them of the old country and the way the people are so similar Mexican grandmas with the everyone eats first, the man leaves the house last kinda thing as for my father he is nuyorican from my grandmother and Calabrian from my grandfather, I was also stripped by my fathers Italian culture, but I know so much about my true heritage that I embrace it very strongly, it’s just sad I couldn’t experience that strong Italian house hold for long because my grandfather passed away when I was very young, and a lot of my cousins bullied me because I was so mixed ,instead a strong Mexican family and I mean it feels so Simlar with the accordion and everything the way the uncles are it’s just the language was similar, I just wish I had that connection, I envy you guys, but I love what you guys are doing, I could never be a true Italian but since atleast 50% of my bloodline is Italian I continue to embrace it, and I was born in NYC and in federal hill I always knew were I wanted to be. But much respect Sabino and Rocco, you guys really did something great here, it will only age like the fine wine 👌
