For some reason I want to trust Caleb, because even if the truth gets out that Kyle killed Al, the family will still be in bits and there’s no one out there to help Kyle, I think Caleb has come into this show because he might be our salvation and help both Cain and Kyle get through when and if the truth comes out, which I hate to say it might be sooner than expected
if the spoilers are correct @baileycalderan8681 then Caleb will definitely help Kyle - and Cain, because apart from being Cain's brother he is Kyle's Grandad ... reasoning behind this, according to the spoilers, Chloe is his daughter.. which means that so is Amy Kyle's mother - because Kerry told Chloe they were both from the same father. So if all that is true it's one helluva "Tangled Twist" ? but a really brilliant one (I think so anyway :-)
Look I get why Cain is acting this way, it's Cain for one thing. But also because Cain doesn't trust strangers or people in general. I mean think about how he acted with Kyle and Nate both came back into his life. Plus they had a bad encounter the first time they actually met that blew up Cain's life. But I really hope that ED just makes them typical brothers who have issues instead of Caleb being this great evil out to destroy Cain. Mainly cause I don't see ED pulling that off well and it's been done.
But they do love recycling same stories (with same characters as we've seen with the Mack cheated Charity and Chloes' pregnant-storyline). I do hope you're right, tho.
Cain has done this all because he wants to protect Kyle and of course he doesn't want his little kid to end up in juvenile, he thinks he's doing what's best for Kyle. But if he thinks it properly he'll realise, even tho he would hate it, that Caleb is right. Btw, why are they thinking Cain would get go to home? Wouldn't he get charge of misleading the investigation? I doubt he would get probation. Or do they consider that he's served his time already from how long he's now been in remand?
I say go tell him to fixed chas it would give him something to do if he really wants to prove himself not saying I like Chas but am saying give him a distraction

Yeah. He missed out the chance meet his biological mum and getting to know her cos of cain lied she dead decades ago makes you wonder why he's been so friendly... Reckon he's secretly planning his revenge...

Caleb is right Kyle is bed wetting he ran away in his pajamas in the middle of winter to turn himself into the cops.I think Caleb's end game is to make Cain pay for saying their mum was dead 30 yrs ago.
Cain's already in jail for a crime he didn't commit and everyone but a handful believe he did it, if Caleb was out to screw Cain he can't do any better than that.
I really hope they don't make Caleb evil and make him have a rivalry with Cain. Just too predictable.
