  • Cultivating corn and milo in April 2022 with the 1941 Farmall A. Now at the end of May, the milo is headed and the corn has ears and irrigated once.

Could you imagine, having to cultivate a couple hundred acres.

How many acres do you farm and what's your location?

Just enough to get the old tractors dirty! Only 1 acre of row crop and 7 acres of hay. Wharton County TX.

Where can I find a cultivator for my A?

Where are you located? I rarely see them sold separately from the tractor. And if they are, chances are that pieces are missing. I recommend looking for a junk A that has the cultivators on it. They are usually cheap. I do know a guy in East Texas that would probably have cultivators.

You're a long way from Texas! The Red Power Roundup is in Spencer, Iowa this June. There is always a lot of vendors there and a fair chance that there could be cultivators there.

I just noticed that Roy's Red Iron in Tennessee has a full set of A-136 cultivators for sale for $175.
