The fact that she called Mackenzie a smartass is ridiculous. She was given a dance about her infamous chips quote, Abby said it wrong, Kenzie corrected her super politely, and Abby called her a smartass. Thank God her mom stood up for her super quickly 👏 ❤️ 💖

Bus driver Jim drove the bus for an overnight school field trip that I was on. One of my friends was ironically watching dance moms, she looked up and there he was. We asked him about dance moms and he goes: “Isn’t that lady in jail.” It was April of 2023.

7:19 Abby was calling Mackenzie a smarta** because Mackenzie corrected Abby on her iconic line “All I want to do is just stay home and eat chips” - this is also after Abby found out that Melissa, Maddie, and Kenzie only had a couple more weeks left before leaving the show, so Abby would treat them bad/rudely. It was then that Melissa started to fight back-ish.

hey christi! when you were asking who abby was calling a “smarta**”, it was mackenzie. in season 6, she gave kenzie a solo called “sit on the couch and eat chips” named after her ICONIC interview where kenzie said “i don’t want to go on broadway. i just want to stay at home and eat chips.” during rehearsals, kenzie and abby started talking about her using a couch as a prop (she was dancing on a couch on stage) and kenzie thought it didn’t make sense bc she didn’t say anything about a couch in her interview. abby says she did or else that wouldn’t be the title of the solo *abby got the quote wrong.* so she called kenzie a smarta** even though she was technically right. this also took place when maddie was filming a movie in NY and wasn’t dancing with the ALDC for like 2 months. in this time period, melissa became much more of an advocate for mackenzie and you can hear her in the clip standing up to abby and defending kenzie (we love to see it!!!). anyways i know you may never see this, but i wanted to provide context since you hadn’t seen that part of the show and seemed confused in the video! love you all so much and im a christi and chloe stan FOR LIFE!!!

@@okikola11 in an early season of dance moms kelly and abby get into one of their biggest fights (so far in the show) and kelly says “maybe we need to go somewhere else me and christi” but it’s kinda edited choppy so all you really hear is “me and christi” and abby literally gets in her face like 2 inches from her face and screams “ITS “CHRISTI AND I” YOU IDIOT “CHRISTI AND I” . correcting her grammar in the most deranged way lol

CHRISTIII I missed these! So glad to see another and as always absoLUTELY I would love to see more! I cannot wait for you and Kelly to get to the eps you guys aren't in because let me tell you...they are WILD. Abby was always out of pocket and cruel and wild before, but oh my GOD it gets crazy. You'll be able to tell when she starts going through her...legal issues LOL because she becomes straight up inhumane and lashes out and Maddie, Kenzie, Kalani, literally anyone and everyone you could imagine. The way she treats Nia in season 5 is absolutely horrendous and makes me feel ill to this DAY. I will wish you luck on the podcast, I can only imagine how difficult it is now to recount and rewatch it all of what you all went through, and I am cheering you on and letting you know that I was ALWAYS on team Christi, Kelly, Brooke, Paige, and Chloe! Hi, so I just wanted to say that you and your daughters have been so inspirational for me because I have always thought that I would never fit in because my dad is in the military so i have never spent my childhood in one place so I just wanted to let you guys know that you guys boost my confidence and make me feel good about my self and make me think that I do not need to lose weight or go on a diet because I have always thought I was fat or ugly and when i watch the show Chloe believes that she is a really good dancer and believes in herself and the way you stood up for her when Abby would yell at her gives me the strength to go on another day and give me the confidence to stand up to my friends or other kids at my school so thank you for that, and one more thing you and Chloe are such big inspirations for young girls who of which aren’t confident in their own skin and think that their not good enough so thank you love you guys❤
