What's the average salary range for IR in private practice? Can you set up a pain clinic in IR or is that MSK?

Sorry Doc I was a House/Nursing supervisor for 7 years, and a UM nurse for 14, including 7 as a manager 3 as a Director. I never saw more happier docs than interventional cardiologists. Of the 7 I worked with. They averaged less than 14.7 hours a week total work time and approached half a mill on average. Inflated as we are in Nor Cal. That 14.7 was the slowest physician not the fastest. I tracked them to the minute as part of PI project I worked with their team as I have have some background with Lean/Six Sigma and EBP. Obviously happy is subjective but as they were taking off their gown and heading out to the parking lot before noon. I always took a deep breath. Salutations from Palo Alto California.

Oh my, this is definitely not the case of the interventional cardiologists I work with. Sounds like a cushy schedule, good for them I guess lol!
Im an IR tech and i work with radiologiat over 55 years old and all of them are ok .. still i wear my eye protection and everything and my apron is close front and back is 2 pice apron with suspenders
and no paperwork babyyyy

Do you know how competitive ESIR residency is vs the categorical IR? looks really hard to get into cat (probably moreso as a DO student), did you do ESIR or just fellowship after the DR residency?
