    Pet hair doesn't just sit on the floor waiting to be vacuumed! A real pet owner knows that pet hair is like a needle and weaves its way into carpets, sofas and anywhere else it seems to land!

      @@VacuumWars Tests vs. Real world is always a factor, but I think you all tried to be fair. As a central vac owner, I'm all about upgrading that rather than getting a noisy heavy thing to push around. Although I'm not in the market for anything vacuum related, I appreciate the technology. A good CV is like a hot rod, you can accessorize it however you want, upgrade the motor power, etc.... and that's my style.

    I just bought a Sebo Felix the other day, and couldn't be happier. It also has a lift away mode as well, but you gave it no points. I paid $599 for the Sebo, not much more than the Dyson which you gave 15 points, but 0 to the Felix. You could have also given the Sebo extra points for its 10 year warranty. My last vacuum was a Shark, and it was awful with pet hair. I would constantly have to stop vacuuming to cut hair out of the roller. But the worst was it constantly getting clogged before it even made it until the dust bin. Maybe it was the model I had, but it was enough to keep me from ever buying a Shark again. If people think a Shark is better than a Sebo, they clearly have never used one.

    • @Susan70003
      @Susan70003 Před 2 lety +2

      Is your Felix bagged? I am pretty sure Performance Reviews does testing on particulates and even though the Hepa filter is on a shark they often leak around that hepa. Performance reviews has tested a lot of sharks and won't give them a pass for that reason. Plus you don't have to worry about the dust bin dust cloud every time you empty it because you have it all bagged. How easy is taking the Felix roller out for cleaning?

      Good catch. I have three Dyson's The DC27 pet, the DC28 pet and the DC25 pet. The DC25 is the easiest to push as its a Ball style with freshly cleaned filters on thick rug but the DC27 pet & DC28 pet get ridiculous hard to push & pull with freshly cleaned and not so clean filters on any rug but the DC28 pet is by far the worst. I've sent it in to Dyson for repair and a week later it became the biggest waste of money. It has to be a design issue. Heres the kicker I have my grandmother's 1929 Hoover upright and eventhough it doesn't have a HEPA filter it out performs all three of my Dyson's for it age. Lol Hoover still has some parts available.

We love our Shark Navigator but after a few too many falls down the stairs and children stepping on the chord while vacuuming it was time to replace and upgrade. We have four cats, two of whom shed A LOT and needed a vacuum that would handle everything we needed it to handle. We ended up getting the Shark Apex Power Lift Away with Zero M. We love this thing! I am so glad I found your channel! I just posted a rant to my friends with a link after seeing an ad for the Shark APEX DuoClean w/ Zero M Powered Lift-Away. "Is anyone else obsessed with vacuum cleaners? I have recently admitted that I am, and have been since Otter became the first in a series of large, double-coated, very long-haired dogs sharing our homes. I've gone through so many vacuums - cannister, shop, upright, bagless, bagged - but our combo of conditions have thwarted them all. The latest (Kenmore Elite 31150) lasted for fewer than five uses. No pet tool attachment has ever worked beyond the first use. I've even drawn up diagrams of my ideas for vacuum cleaner improvement inventions! Here's my latest flirtation. How much do you want to bet that Annabelle's hair can defeat the Zero M feature within five minutes? But part of me still holds out hope..." So your review has given this two-huge-fluffy-long-haired-perpetually-shedding-dog-household hope.

  • @livinglargeonasmallbudget1027

    I love my Shark vacuum. I am sharing this with you because I used to not care about my vacuum but I bought a Shark Navigator a few years back, I accidentally dropped it and a small plastic piece broke that allows the vacuum to swivel. I called the company to see if I could buy a replacement part but instead they paid for me to ship the vacuum back to them and sent me a new one. I could not believe they did that for me because it was my fault I broke it but they said it was more important to them that I have a great vacuum that is not broken even if it was my error that caused it to break. I have been a loyal customer since that moment not just because of their customer service but because they have great products. I now own 3 Shark vacuums one for each floor of my home, my oldest vacuum is used in my basement, my rotator upstairs and my duo clean on the main floor. I would have to say I love the duo clean the most because it picks up anything with the dual rollers and it is so lightweight. FYI Update. Now, I even bought the newest shark IQ robot vacuum with self empty and wow do I love that thing. My floors are always clean, it is expensive but worth every penny.

    Great Video! I noticed you have thoroughly tested the Apex Shark line, specifically the AZ1000 and AX951. But I have never seen you mention the AX912! Shark lists this as an Apex "Speed" vacuum and it seems to be a smaller, lighter Apex DuoClean Powered Lift-Away. I'm trying to decide between the Apex AX912 and your favorite NV800, which seem to have a lot in common. Both are DuoClean, Powered Lift Away, and of the "Speed" line. Both are similar weight at 14.8lb and 14.5lb respectively. One of the big differences however is the AX912 appears to have a smaller motor (7.5 amp) than the NV800 series (9.2 amp). Have you tested the AX912? Any chance you can get one in for review?

    You should test LONG pet hair. I have 2 great pyrenees and up until this video the only option for a vacuum was the bissell pet hair eraser (might try that new anti tangle shark vacuum). Dog pet owners also need to pick up stuffing from toys that have been chewed open! Perhaps add stuffing to your tests? 😊 (Side note: Our bagless Hoover Windtunnel does a horrible job with that. The stuffing gets jammed in the narrow space between the hose opening and metal “core” in the canister, then the hot metal core scorches the stuffing! We didn’t have an actual fire, fortunately, but it seems possible.)
