- Kim and I have been traveling to Seaside, Oregon for going on 30 years now. Trust us, there isn't much this awesome coastal town can offer you that we don't know about.
It is true what they say though! Seaside is definitely for fun!
Unlike many other towns on the Oregon Coast this is the stop for families or couples looking for a good time. It's unlike any other city we have on the Oregon Coast with arcades, a carousel, pedal bikes for rent, etc. You name it you can probably do it in Seaside.
Come along as we explore downtown Seaside, the seaside aquarium, the boardwalk, restaurants, and we even have a few cool surprises along the way.

Seaside is for fun
Some places are just for relaxation. You can do that perfectly well in Seaside but we also promise you'll have tons of fun. We are the kite flying, sand castle making, boogie boarding, ancient forest hiking, grand promenade strolling, skee balling, kayaking, tandem biking, swan boating, sunset picnicking and bumper car-carring capital of the Oregon Coast! Which is to say, Seaside is for remembering what an amazing vacation feels like.

Nonnis is the best Restaurant in Seaside.
Hands down.
The Ciopino is world class.
Not sure weâve been there. Will definitely add it to the list for next time. Appreciate the recommendation.
Seaside and Newport are the fun beaches.
Yes they are
@@adventuresofjandk Also, Lincoln City and other Oregon Coast beaches are fun too! đ
Seen a few videos about Seaside Oregon, but you have captured everything we miss about not living in the area anymore. Thank you for sharing.
Thank you so much Maurice. Glad it brought back some pleasant memories.
See you next year
Hope you enjoy. Itâs a fun town.
Great video 5:40 random guy walking by holdng a balloon. Funny as hell.
đ. That is great. We didnât even catch that. Good eye.
The sea lions are amazing!! We had so much fun while visiting.
Glad you enjoyed it. Itâs definitely a fun place to visit.
Fun day! Looking forward to taking my family this Summer!!
Itâs a fun beach town for sure. Hope you all enjoy.
LOVE THIS VIDEO! And all of them, even though they make me homesick for my home state. This one points up the fact that, in all those trips to the coast, we never really spent any time in Seaside. So this was pretty much "all new" to me! Good job to Kim on the castle AND the sand dollars... and good job to both of you for another great video.
The Kevin. That is very kind of you. Glad it brought back some great memories for you.
@@adventuresofjandk It does, but I'd say, more importantly, it gives me a window to the coast as it is TODAY. It's almost like seeing it real time, and I find that really valuable, so thanks for that!
The way I remember it: When we lived in Ashland we would go out to parks like Honeyman and the big dunes, and as far up as Florence. When we lived in Corvallis, I remember us going out to the beaches around Newport, Waldport and Yachats. Then when we lived in Salem, we'd go out to Lincoln City, Fogerty Creek State Park, and points North like our friend's beach house near Neskowin... but rarely did we go farther North than Tillamook., and I don't remember even stopping in Seaside. Memories! My Mom says I remember it all wrong, but I sure remember all those places and more!
Sounds like you had some memorable experiences.
@@adventuresofjandk Yes. With family, on school field trips, and with friends. Fun to be able to re-visit, in a way, by watching your videos. I really hope I can get back out there this year!
Thanks for the great comment Kevin. Great memories
Fun video. Iâve been to Seaside, but didnât spend much time. Thereâs more to do than I imagined.
Definitely. So much to do in that small town.
Looks like a fun place. Great job on the castle Kim!

Love this place
Hard to beat
Fun Video! Thanks for sharing.
Youâre welcome. Glad you enjoyed it.
Kim you did a great job on the sand castle!!
Thank you. It was so much fun.
What a great video. Go for day trips every year but have not experienced all that you two did. Has made me realize itâs time to return in 2023 to enjoy more. Nice work!
Thank you. đ
From someone who is from Seaside... and has my own Top 10 Things to do in Seaside video here on CZcams ;) ... well done. Thanks for talking up my hometown! It really is one of my favorite places in the world. You actually inspired me from a previous Seaside video you did for me to create my own from the viewpoint of a local who grew up here. Let me know when you are in town and I'd love to collab or at least meet up, we seem to run in similar circles. Cheers to another upload!
Thanks Jackson. That would be awesome.
Do we need to bring a passport for check points to visit this part of USA ?
Question do we need to bring our passport for check points areas if we goes to visit seaside ?

Yeah... Seaside is for tourists actually. :( A ton of the housing and property there are short stay vacation rentals owned/run by vacasa & air bnb and developers for tourist stays and a ton of residents have had to move or swallow huge rent hikes due to a complete lack of available housing to actually live in.
The entire coast is suffering with few resources going to any livability for residents and most of it going to encouraging/facilitating more tourism. We have plenty of people from out of state who own/operate air bnb's in our tiny towns while residents are living in a rusty trailer for an arm & a leg.
Please consider these things. Your tourist destination is always someone else's backyard.
thatâs true anywhere in the world. Not a whole lot that can be done. Plus tourists keep those locals businesses open and operating.
