Hormones don’t change the larger frame; bone size, the larger cardiovascular system, bigger lung capacity and plenty other things. If you went through male puberty, you have the physical benefits of that development. Current hormone levels are not the only factor. Men and women sports are separate for a reason.
Once as a boy-teenager-karate beginner I had sparring with girl who was european junior champion in kick boxing at the time. She was (no doubt) born girl with a pretty face, weight a bit less than me but her arms were very muscular (much more than mine at the time 😉). I was 15 yo she was about 18. She pressed me, beat fast combinations but not harder than my collegues from beginners group. When she pushed me to the corner I threw one low kick in maybe 50% of my capacity. I saw tears in her eyes. I said sorry, closed my head in gard and to the end of the round I had let her to beat me as sandbag. After I had only small bruise on my ribs, she told me that she fought exactly like on competition.... Yeah, born boys have no advantages.....

If one of these "girls" is allowed to complete at the college level in women's sports, then it will be the end of biological women in sports. HRT, especially after 2 years, greatly affects muscle mass, bone density, height, sex drive, heightened/lessened senses, tissue variables and others. There's still a lot for scientists to research on this topic.

Men have more hemoglobin than women do (protein in red blood cells that carries oxygen to the body's tissues, including muscles) I could name many more, need I !? Men also have a much more efficient running form. Because of the female body and the placement and size of the hips, women run with an arm swing that naturally goes across the chest instead of straight, or “cheek to cheek.” they also have much more wobble and shake in their form, making a female athlete generally much less efficient of a runner.
So after being asked to empathize with how your biologically female teammates must feel, they immediately empathize with themselves. Selfish. The interview with the parents shows where they got that from.

Do they realize that it's not only hormones ? There is a reason why you can tell appart men and women just by looking at their bones. Men and women have different body and hormones won't change your bones shape. The shape of the muscle are different too, since the bones aren't the sames, so are the muscles who link them. Also men have bigger organs than women, bigger lungs and bigger hearts, which make for more oxygen for the muscles and given more quickly thanks to the faster blood flow. That can't be changed with hormones. And whatever they do, they'll be at an unfair advantage because of those traits they were born with. So except in the case where they were born significantly weaker than an average man, they'll always be stronger than women.

Do they realize that it's not only hormones ? There is a reason why you can tell appart men and women just by looking at their bones. Men and women have different body and hormones won't change your bones shape.
The shape of the muscle are different too, since the bones aren't the sames, so are the muscles who link them.
Also men have bigger organs than women, bigger lungs and bigger hearts, which make for more oxygen for the muscles and given more quickly thanks to the faster blood flow.
That can't be changed with hormones. And whatever they do, they'll be at an unfair advantage because of those traits they were born with.
So except in the case where they were born significantly weaker than an average man, they'll always be stronger than women.

I agree. I don't have a problem with transgenders. But letting biological males compete against biological females is inappropriate and it's cheating. I identify as a motorbike so I'm going to compete on the women's track team.
@@crawfish069 I do have a problem with the whole situation. Being transgender means that you have a mental issue and liberals try to turn it into something normal. But it isn't, transgenders suffer from a high suicide rate etc.
This crosses the line as soon as it affects other people.
People can identify however they want to, but it just crosses the line when it negatively affects others.

As I said, I'm all for people being able to identify as whatever they want and be accepted for that. But it just goes too far when it starts negatively affecting others.
