    Good Luck on the Launch Sunday. I'll be watching from SM. When was the last time something else besides a Minuteman was launched?

    What's up with that light ring? It's clearly lighting up smoke under it? It's there in the pulled back shot also around 0:28, and is clearly unaffected by the blast of fire as it is passed. It is also evident in the pulled back shot how much higher than the actual light/observation masts this thing is .

      I was the crew commander on this launch.... and I honestly don't know what the hell that is.
      I'll forward this to the test manager for this launch and see if he knows.

      Jonathan Carey Thanks. I think it's a smoke ring that was emitted when the boosters fired.

    • @standardaussie
      @standardaussie Před 5 měsíci

      Na bs, it's emitting light. You can see the trail of smoke it lights up just as/before the rocket first fires past it.
      Second, you can see the rocket buzz past it as in shot before but this time right after the cam pulls back, it is clearly illuminated and clearly undisturbed as the rocket/missiles blast is shot past it.

    i felt i needed to post this. i live north of vandenberg air force base. its been weird lately" around here ". my girl and i feel we need to split. we have a 3 year old. i feel like people are getting wacked out from heavy metals around here. but i also feel like the shit is going to hit the fan soon around here. like some one with fat pockets going to buy something put a bunch of insurance on it and have two planes fly into it. but wait?? this all sounds to familiar. .

    we need to go back to equipping this delivery system with MIRVs, because like the MX peacekeeper multiple warheads can knock out 3 high level targets at once, plus it'll save the military a little money because this missile (built by Boeing) costs $7,000,000 a pop
