🥰🌷🌿👍❤❤
Muito boa a qualidade dos seus vídeos! Parabéns pelo trabalho!
Obrigado Rogerio! Um abraço
Soooooooo chill love it!!!!
Glad you liked it! thanks again ;)
@@CajonMaster Oh yeah enjoyed!!!
Bueno aprendí de platillos también, gracias Felipe.
Que bueno que te gusta! ;)
Hi, what's great channel. Cheers from Poland
Hey, thanks!
Dale fuerte hermano!!!
Gracias hermano!
Great ideas!
I have a 10" meinl splash used with hand.
Did you use just that one stand microphone to record? Sounds cool.
Thanks 🙏 the 10 Splash is great! I’m using 4 mics, 2 for the cajon (back and front) and 2 overhead mics for the room and cymbals, they are not in the picture but they are there :) cheers
@@CajonMaster Thank you for your answer! cheers
Would be helpful to also hear how the cymbals sound like when hit with the hand rather than sticks. Thanks for making this video tho.
Sure thing! I will make a video playing with hands soon, thanks for the suggestion 😉
Great!!!!!
Thanks!
🔥🔥🔥
Thanks Eric!😉
I'd never heard of this series of specialty cymbals from Meinl, and I assumed that I'd probably end up not liking many(or any) of them. I'm glad to say that my assumption was dead wrong! I usually prefer darker cymbals, but these sound really good.
This is a percussion line Candela. Unfortunately this series is discontinued, they don't make it anymore. I really like the dark series from meinl as well. Thanks for your comment ;)
Hi Felipe! I am looking for a cajon hi-hat which is quiet enough to be played in a flat (by pedal) but which doesn't sound like crap though. Can you compare the volume of the Meinl hat with paperthin hats or jazz hats? Thank you so much! Greetings from Austria! Stefan
Hi Stefan, I don't know the paper thin but this Meinl 10"hihat is the best I found to play with brushes and rods and has just the right volume to play quarter notes with the pedal. I will have look into the paper thin and jazz hats, thanks
@@CajonMaster Thank YOU very much! 😃
@@CajonMaster Have you ever tried other cymbals designed for cajons, apart from the Meinl cymbals? Standard cymbals are too loud, that's no surprise. 😊
@@stefanrr4765 I think any jazzy hats 10" to 12" could do the job. It's better if you use thin cymbals, it will be more soft and crisp ;)
@@CajonMaster Thx 😁
Try Loota percussion cajon set.
Hello, do you know the dark custom series of meinl? Do you think i can play them with my hands and cajon?
Hi Nicolas, have you tested the dark
Series with your hands? I don’t know a lot about the darks. I use the percussion cymbals Candela and also the Big apple dark ride and dark hihat. The Candelas work best with hands because they are thin cymbals.
It would be good if you could test it in a shop before buying . Let me know
@@CajonMaster thanks, i will buy the Experience '' del cajon '' series by UFIP.
great demo. did you record all of that with just one microphone on the ground? the sound is great.
I used 4 Mics:
AKG C3000 - geni.us/5nyNs
Shure Beta52 - geni.us/FfOl
Behringer C-2 Overheads (pair) - geni.us/BayxXK
Really I loved it..❤️☺️☺️ but it would have been more better if u would have attached a pedal I think...☺️
Thanks! I like to play bass and slap/snare with my left hand, it makes a good workout! 😉
I realize that this video is 2 years old. I looked on the Meinl website and this series isn’t available. I also had this same problem with other Meinl products that were also two years old. Do you have any other suggestions?
Hi Lynette, unfortunately these are discontinued. I would advise you to check meinlcymbals.com and look forward dry and thin cymbals, there are a lot of options ;)
If you had just one cymbal/hi hat to bring, which would it be?
Meinl Big Apple ride "22, love this cymbal! If it's only a hihat I would take this little one from the video 10", very cool!
hihat: 9,8! splash: 8,9 crash: 8,6 jingle bell: 3,6 Ride: 9. Expensives in Argentina.
Which one will be best...
Sabian SBR10
Zildjian ZP10S
Meinl HCS10
Istabnul MSX10
Difficult to say! Cymbals are very personal. Can you test those? It would be nice if you choose the sound you like best. I personally like Meinl cymbals but I think it’s important you test them before buying it 😉
Ok sir...
Where can I found them? I haven't seen them anywhere...
Hi Ismael, this video is from 2021. Unfortunately this line of cymbals is discontinued :( But you find great thin cymbals from Meinl and all other brands. Just make sure the are thin and dry, better to play with brushes, rods and hands ;)
@@CajonMaster Ohh...😣. Ok thanks👌🏻
Cant we use the cymbols that we use in the drumkit ..instead of buying percussion symbols..
Of course, any cymbal works. Try it and let me know how it goes. Hit me up if you need any help, cheers
They won't respond very well unless you hit them very hard, or use sticks. This will drown out the other percussion. I have bought many cymbals to play with brushes and they just don't sound good unless hit hard.
If you’re going to have all those cymbals, you might as well just get a drum set
It's a good option but much louder and more pieces to carry. With the cajon you have the snare, kick and a chair ;)
okay
thanks!
