@Jessica Giffen Maybe you guys blew a breaker, did you check the breaker box? Where are ya in FLA? We are on the West coast in Central Florida. You will get used to keeping an eye on it. Make sure to have a hurricane kit in a large tote always in your storage closet and you just replenish the food each year and check your batteries. Publix has hurricane guides every year so you know what to put in your kit. You can flush w/o power, its just in case something happens to water plant in the county. Don't keep your hurricane kit in the garage because of the heat in FLA.

I live in Central Florida. Today we’ve just had some wind. But thankfully looks like the hurricane is going to be offshore so we should just get tropical storm weather later tonight into Wednesday.
Boy were we lucky 🍀 after what happened in the Bahamas 🇧🇸 those poor people. My nephew and his family and neighbors stayed in their houses in Boca ...Hurricane windows are the key. They had a neighborhood party with lots of craft projects for the kids and food and wine .
I’m just so thankful that we were spared.

@nicole It was mostly the East Coast, and there was some light wind and rain in the center of FLA. I'm on the West coast near the Gulf and we had a shower for about a half hour or so and the wind was around 10mph. It was nothing here. The East Coast experienced all of it.
Hang in there. I know it has taken so long. Hopefully this will over in the next 24 hour....
