Lessons from the Big Questions in Classrooms​ initiative
The Big Questions in Classrooms Initiative aimed to help primary and secondary pupils and teachers to better understand ‘how knowledge works’. This includes the way subjects relate to each other and how we learn. That way pupils are better equipped to navigate the web of information available to them, select the most helpful sources, and tackle the big questions of our time.
During this event we will:
Share key findings and lessons from NPC’s evaluation of the Big Questions in Classrooms initiative
Share our learning about how change in education happens at the pupil, teacher, and ecosystem level.
Discuss how the lessons learnt are widely applicable to other innovation projects in education and suitable for a broad audience.
We will also hear reflections from guest speakers involved with the Big Questions in Classroom initiative, and there will be time for a Q&A.
