Rented a vacation home there once. Beautiful and great experience. Unfortunately it is still in backwards South Carolina.
Pawleys Island is supposed to be backwards, one of the only places around where you'll see million-dollar houses on dirt roads and people in cut off jeans and flip-flops driving Mercedes 😂👍
LOVE Pawley’s Island! We’ve been there twice to try and spot some dolphin feeding. We saw them once ! They’re a sight to see. But Pawley’s is DEF worth going to see.

You didn't mention that we have ONE road that runs through the whole area...Hwy 17. It was great 40 years ago when I moved here and we had 2 stoplights and 17 was 2 lanes. Now it's 4 lanes with 6 stoplights and the traffic is bumper to bumper all day.
I think I touched on that in another video but you're right. One rode in, one rode out. 31 needs to be extended down there somehow to reroute Myrtle Beach traffic easier past y'all!

@jameswalling8395 see that's just it I have no idea other than building a causeway over the Waccamaw River and having it tap in on the north side of Georgetown before you get into town there. I know that we're talking about it at one point but it got shot down. I'll wager you a frosty cold adult beverage that in the next 10 years that idea is revived 👍

Depends on where you're talking about specifically, in general down there though demand is higher than supply
