- Seattle Yachts kindly invited me onboard there 2022 Ocean Sport Roamer 30 that was on display the Ft Lauderdale International Boat Show. Growing up in Scotland, I was familiar with fully enclosed fishing boats, but not like this!! 30ft long yet offers air conditioned accommodation for 4 adults, has a fully equipped heads compartment, joystick controls, full bank of electronics not only at the helm, but in the aft cockpit as well!! This is the perfect weekend fishing or diving machine!!

Thanks Bryan. That's exactly my thought too. This sort of design was very popular in Scotland so you can hide from the cold and rain while heading out to the fishing grounds. Now I'm in Florida, it's so you can hide in the AC to avoid the heat 🤪

That’s a bargain
Price is a joke, deduct the outboards and should be a 30-50k boat. Where did you see the shower? Doesn’t even have a hot water or mixer tap at the toilet sink !
Saw one of their next larger ones, the 3200, I think. The design is pretty good, as it had a fly bridge and a much nicer, but still kind of spartan interior. It looks like it can really go places, but they do seem kind of pricey. Definintely seems like more of a working boat than a pleasure boat.
I'd love to check that one out some day. If you are into true offshore fishing, I'd rather have something more rugged like this. I've been on center consoles way over $1m that claim to be for fishing. Do you really want to deal with all the blood and scales etc on high end leather seats etc 🤔 😬
