I'm currently looking for an aero bike that can climb, hence how I found this channel. Any good recommendations from previous generations? These new ones are just way too expensive for how much I'm willing to spend on a bike. Have been considering the specialized SL2, but wondering if there are any much better options.
Is this the RC Pro version? because it should be a lot lighter. Scott says 7.35kg on their website and my mate his RC Pro ways 6.9kg with dura ace pedals and DT Swiss ARC 1100 wheels in size 56....
yh rc pro, so 2nd top version. Scott website won't include pedals, 200g, bottle cages and wahoo mount which adds up. My bars/stem combo is 500g which is heavy as and my chainrings are pretty heavy as well.
@@CharlieCarbsandCycling So I've had my foil RC 30 for about 5 months and I feel like it doesn't handle nearly as well for corners as my Tarmac SL6. Curious if it is just me. I'm thinking about selling me SL6 and getting an SL7 for technical crits. The foil is great for road racing (My position is way more aero on the foil then my tarmac SL6).
Hey, what frame size is the bike and what are your body measurements? Height and seating height . How would you compare to your Canyon bike? Is the scott true to size?
@@matthiasmoder9119 scott xs 49cm and canyon xs. Canyons sizing is one bigger than it should be imo so an xs canyon is a small in most other bike brands
@@CharlieCarbsandCycling yeah I am 177cm an saddle height or 72cm . I am riding an Canyon Ultimate in S and I think i will go to size M for my new Scott Foil. Should be ok without spacers and a shorter stem :) Thanks for your help. Cheers , Matthias
Damn phenomenal sound quality
Outrageous big ring! love your bike reviews
Thank you. I appreciated your review.

@@CharlieCarbsandCyclingWhy are your integrated bars so heavy? Long stem?
@@unbridlededification they aren't integrated they are just alloy bar and stem. I'm getting integrated which should be sub 300 in the future

Literally no dealers in the US though. I see that hippy California guy riding it buts that's about it
That "hippy" probably bought it from Sports Basement....
That "hippy" is Brian Safa and he definitely earned it for free with his Scott sponsorship@@LeConcerto
