Curriculum: Defined

In 1980s, the meaning of the term curriculum has been identified as fragmentary and quite elusive since a unified definition hasn’t been developed yet (Ornstein, 1987). As compared to other disciplines, curriculum is still young and its dynamic nature makes it so that principles in curriculum changes with the society’s demands; so there have been a lot of debates among the scholars within the discipline, even just determining the curriculum's definition, scope, and nature.
This is a discussion video specifically made for my students in EDUC 90: The Teacher and the School Curriculum at the state university where I work at. It is contextualized for their level of understanding about the curriculum as well as with their characteristics as learners.
