Rastafari needs to 1. move into futuristic mode once again and 2. Claim victory for things that we've championed over the years. It's not that the movement has lost its militancy, it's that many of the things the movement stood for has come to fruition. Cannabis has been decriminalized/legalized, Black people in the diaspora are more interested in Africa than ever before, more Black people are wearing their hair natural, more people are eating "ital" (vegan) , there are more Rastafari on the continent of Africa than anywhere in the world and some very militant.

yet we Africans are still serfs in the 21st century with money in our pockets. yet we still have a problem of identification, we have chosen to remain as dirty versions of whites. Africa still isn't free but somehow we preach change. what changed? We are unbeautifully subscribing to universal ideals and values that keep us in the same position of conquered people. Rastafari needs to go back to it's core and move towards the alternative world order of Africans championing the cause of liberation .

Rastafari has never lost its revolutionary spirit and never will. The problem is you are confusing reggae artist with real Rastafari. Not saying that there is not real Rastafari in reggae music but they will take the back seat to fame and fortune because of their ideals-they will not take devil contracts. Go into any real Rastafari commune and will see the revolutionary spirit is a live and well. Now if you want to ask where is the revolutionary spirit in the new reggae artist that is the question I think you are asking. And that my friend is this - Reggae music has been watered down by the music industry - they only allow the watered down message to make it on the charts - the artist with the revolutionary message will be put to the back with no resources to push their message - while the heroin reggae artist will tour the nations - because it fits in with the NEW World Order agenda .

The problem is that Rastas never thought to gatekeep, understandably since love is one of the guiding principles of the faith, but by doing so these days any Tom Dick and Harry call themselves Rasta as a joke and many people in the west are dumbfounded when I reveal I'm Rasta but don't act like the walking caricatures they expect

One, they said that God was Black when no one would believe them.
Two, they kept alive the life and deeds of Marcus Garvey when it was not popular to do so.
Three, they refused to allow their standard of beauty to be defined by Europeans.
And, four, they never lost their vision of repatriation to Africa. Rastafari!!!

In the Caribbean, the enemies of Black people saw Rastafari as a major threat, it echoed the Revolutionary spirit that was going on in America and Africa, so. Its essence had to be taking control of by babylon, but it is up to Black people to take back that essence

Facts reggae music was and is a two edged/ hot n cold sword to Rastafari movement and culture...the commercializing of a culture to one’s outside the culture by one’s Of & not of the culture is the folly. Good luck changing the game...Weh gone bad from morning....conscious separation is needed now like before to set the record straight before it too late. Rastafari bigger than reggae and entertainment, much much bigger, the struggle continues...rent a dreads & overly worldly & carnal dreads mimicking Rastafari culture In reggae need fi stop. I n I must rally and work to protect I n I God head name, identity, and purpose from Jackals🦊🐺🐗🐍🐀etc black and/or white etc
