    The flip side of, Love Letters
    * Card Records was a subsidiary of Sultan Records of New York City, New York. "Since You've Gone Away" was written and produced by, Frank Cari, who also composed, "Dearest Darling (I'm Still In Love With You)" (The Rosebuds) recorded on Gee Records in 1957. The Medallions heard here, also recorded for Sultan Records, the year before, in 1959. They are of NO RELATION to the "Medallions" who recorded on Dootone Records in Los Angeles, California. The group heard here on, "Since You've Gone Away", were a Caucasian (White) vocal group and the Los Angeles group were, African American (Black).

      Thanks. The echo effect or cathedral effect reminds me of a "sound" from long ago. It adds a layer of mystery to a song, a distance, a longing, etc , something.
