Giving our dogs a yard was one of the sweetest moments of buying a new house- we were in tears just so happy to give our pups a space of their own.

as someone who is also moving currently and has had a Rough Year, I was pretty surprised by how much grief and how many feelings came up throughout the process! so much shit has gone down and i'm just so happy to finally get into a new space, so i get you. thank you for including that part bc I felt a little crazy as I was going through it, since it's never happened before to me, so thanks for making me feel less alone ❤
OMG YES no one talks about the grief and emotions that come up when you are moving which is why I ultimately decided to keep that clip in. I honestly thought I was so alone in feeling this way so thank YOU for making me feel less alone as well❤

I've moved probably at least ten times in my life, across the Atlantic ocean, from the west to the east coast, and let me tell you, moving never gets easy haha. Really excited for your fresh start in your beautiful new house :).

Yay yay yay! Literally no clue when we’ll be able to afford a house of our own (thank you LA housing market) so I’m just living vicariously through this moving content! Also, we finally caved and used movers for our last move and we will never move our own furniture ever again. Best choice ever.
Edit as I watch: as someone who has minimal content with one of my mom and has since high school, I so understand and I’m so happy that you have found something to make that even a little bit easier. ❤

For that exact reason I'm not posting one. I don't want people on the internet to know my home layout. My little family's safety comes first and foremost! You will see little glimpses of our home of course in these moving vlogs but I don't feel comfortable posting a home tour online because you never know who will see it. Thank you for understanding ❤️

Alright it's time to out myself- I'm a fan. Fan of you, fan of your content, just all around fan. I had an inkling when you were going to Salem and I was like 'ooo me too, wonder if we are going at the same time.. would I recognize her? would I say hi? Feel like that would be so uncomfortable, she seems way too down to earth to want strangers saying I watch your CZcams channel religiously while she's out in public' (no I don't overthink social situations at all).
so anywaysssss that wasn't enough of a sign for me, This video was what finally solidified it for me.
I was on the fence about watching this one because it seems like EVERYONE I watch is moving right now so I'm like eh do I want to watch more moving videos BUT found myself thinking "well I don't want to miss out on what's going on in her life" (first I'm a fan sign😂) and because I'm excited to see the country home (I currently live in a city-ish town and can't wait to move to a more rural area).
But of course your content is just completely different from the others I've been seeing- I LOVE your vulnerability regarding that feeling of leaving a place where so many good and bad memories were made.
I then proceeded to cry happy tears watching your dog zoom around his new yard (second sign I'm a fan, I'm crying over a total stranger's / their dog's happiness) .
The house looks beautiful thank you for sharing it with us and I am hoping for some thrifted home decor decorating the new space blogs soon!!

Do houses in Canada not have built in closets?
Our home is estimated to be close to 100 years old and they defs didn't have built in closets back then! But newer homes do have them but not older homes which I would think is the same anywhere you go! ☺️
@@CarterSullivan Oh that makes sense. I live in California so there aren’t a ton of homes from before the 1940s left. My parents house was built in 1949. The closets are small but they are present.
Shouting THANK YOU for the compostable plates. Swear I am the only person that cares about that shit it seems.
I refuse to use disposable plates hahaha yes it costs me abit more to buy compostable ones but at least they (hopefully) don't end up in a landfill🥹
I would so hire a cleaner for a deep clean.
Honestly I just ended up doing it myself, it just needed a quick vacuum and wipe down. I'm hoping to get cleaners to come out for a deep clean in the next few weeks but we were in a pinch since movers were coming the next day and did the best we could in that timeframe!
