    Took several days for me to find a video for my model SS 4235. Didn't know how to drain oil!
    Thank you sooooo much!

    Great video! I've had the privilege (or maybe the headache...?) of owning six different mowers. Two John Deere's, two Grasshoppers, a Husqvarna, and a Cub Cadet. Each one always needed work, and seemed to be torn apart rather than running.
    My current mower is a 2015 Toro Timecutter SS5000. I bought it in 2019 with 150hrs on it. She's now rolling with 290hrs.
    Not only have I not needed to do a single thing to it aside from seasonal maintenance, but anything I've needed to do to the mower has been an absolute *breeze.*
    The oil change simplicity is unreal, the ease of changing the blades is great, and the convenience of cleaning under the deck via the hose ports is phenomenal!

    My 50 inch timecutter with 691 kawasaki engine owners manual shows NOT to insert dipstick when taking oil level readings.😮

      It's been a great mower for me! Just keep up on the maintenance, get the grass off the mowing desk after you finish using it to keep it from rusting.

    If you have an oil pump is there any reason you couldn’t drain from the top through the oil fill tube? That way you avoid that dreaded plastic nut valve at the oil drain port? I have a Toro 5025. Thanks

    • @RickyVentures
      @RickyVentures  Před 2 lety

      @@RickyVentures I just didn’t know if there was maybe a screen or something in the oil tank that could cause issues. I had this problem on a Yamaha engine once. Thanks again for a great video.

    • @wambamit344
      @wambamit344 Před 2 lety +1

      It’s probably 3/8
      I bought a 5/16 one today and it didn’t fit so went to Toro and purchased filter and 2 qt of oil and while I was there asked them for size of nipple
      3/8

    • @RickyVentures
      @RickyVentures  Před 2 lety +1

      I've used an older garden hose, I cut a piece out and I've use a smaller clear tube when I could find my previous one. The small clear tube was harder to get on the nipple but both have worked just fine.

    What kind of camera are you recording with? I notice the interior shots are darker, I'd suggest maybe adding in a work light for your videos! I'm debating making my own as well, subbed.
