nice video ,thanks ..will do ..
Thanks John! Hope the video helped you out.
Took several days for me to find a video for my model SS 4235. Didn't know how to drain oil!
Thank you sooooo much!
You're welcome!
Great video! I've had the privilege (or maybe the headache...?) of owning six different mowers. Two John Deere's, two Grasshoppers, a Husqvarna, and a Cub Cadet. Each one always needed work, and seemed to be torn apart rather than running.
My current mower is a 2015 Toro Timecutter SS5000. I bought it in 2019 with 150hrs on it. She's now rolling with 290hrs.
Not only have I not needed to do a single thing to it aside from seasonal maintenance, but anything I've needed to do to the mower has been an absolute *breeze.*
The oil change simplicity is unreal, the ease of changing the blades is great, and the convenience of cleaning under the deck via the hose ports is phenomenal!
Its great lawn mower!
My 50 inch timecutter with 691 kawasaki engine owners manual shows NOT to insert dipstick when taking oil level readings.😮
Yeah, I think it does say you shouldn't twist it on to get an accurate level. Habit on my part. 😀 Thanks for watching!
Very helpful and simple! Thx!
You bet. Glad you found it helpful!
Thanks Ricky is it the same FR691V looks like I got more clips for the deck to drop I seen u drop just one for deck
Hope it helped you out. One bolt in the front and two hooks on the back for my deck. Have a great day!
i was going to have the dealer do all of the above. LOL, You convinced me to do it myself.. What was that saying...? So easy a child could it. Well you made it look very easy, Great video. OOOOH!!!!! okay, and i will clean up afterwards like you did. LOL
Awesome! Great to hear that it helps people out and hopefully saved you money.
Hey Ricky! I have the same zero turn. (Time cutter 5060) thanks for showing us the maintenance. Well done.
It's a great machine!
We use to have a landscaping & lawn maintenance business for 15 yrs. So I have done maintenance on mowers in cold weather in Virginia. 🤟🏼
Awesome!
Thank you this video was very helpful
You are welcome! Glad you found it helpful! Check out the rest of the channel and subscribe if you like. It really helps us out!
First time doing this work myself. Does power washing hurt the engine at all?
Nope. Ran fine.
HAD TO COME SEE YOUR NECK OF THE WOODS! ♥️
Thanks for stopping by!
Thanks dude, I just purchased a new one and I wanted to know to replace the blades.
These toro lawn mowers are great! Thanks for watching.
Nice video and great content!! I have the 5060 model
It's a dependable lawn mower! Thanks for watching and please consider subscribing, it really helps the channel out!
Great video bro
Thank you. Hope it helps others out!
Clean your mower before you do maintenance on it, it makes it so much easier to work on it.
Great video very informative, but Rick what’s with the music you don’t need it.
Thanks Bob. noted!
How do you check the hydraulic fluids????
Video it's to dark, we can't see anything
The lighting is not perfect but looks ok on my end?
Hi Ricky for a new owner(bought it used) what kind of advise you can give me?
Thank you ahead of time
It's been a great mower for me! Just keep up on the maintenance, get the grass off the mowing desk after you finish using it to keep it from rusting.
If you have an oil pump is there any reason you couldn’t drain from the top through the oil fill tube? That way you avoid that dreaded plastic nut valve at the oil drain port? I have a Toro 5025. Thanks
I suppose that could work?
@@RickyVentures I just didn’t know if there was maybe a screen or something in the oil tank that could cause issues. I had this problem on a Yamaha engine once. Thanks again for a great video.
how much oil does it take?
I used two quarts it looked good on the dip stick. Hope the video was helpful!
What size drain tube are you using to drain the oil ? Appreciate it!
Hello thanks for watching. About the size of a garden hose.
What the tube is not that big
It’s probably 3/8
I bought a 5/16 one today and it didn’t fit so went to Toro and purchased filter and 2 qt of oil and while I was there asked them for size of nipple
3/8
I've used an older garden hose, I cut a piece out and I've use a smaller clear tube when I could find my previous one. The small clear tube was harder to get on the nipple but both have worked just fine.
What kind of camera are you recording with? I notice the interior shots are darker, I'd suggest maybe adding in a work light for your videos! I'm debating making my own as well, subbed.
Thanks for the feedback and welcome to the channel! Most of my filming is done with GoPro cameras.
What size tube do I need to put on nipple

Use heat gun to get hose on easy
More fun up North! czcams.com/video/_Il9PSE4OJo/video.html
You've got the music on for some reason 🫣
Yeah,, I was trying figuring out if having music in my youtube videos was good or bad?
@@RickyVentures I prefer no music, it doesn't make it better.
@@mawangdwei3866 thanks for the input!
