A Monte Carlo driver, I am convinced for the price point. Yes, there can be few additional features for ~quarter a crore I spent. But I read lot of issues in Tesla, Ferrari and luxury car forums too... Then came to a conclusion, there is no car can satisfy a driver!
In my fellow Kushaq owners forum, I see for majority of people, service cost are manageable. In comparison with my ex Tata Tiago, I see the service costs are about 5-10% dearer... A quick point of reference, with Tata clutch at affordable price point, changing every 4-5 years is definitely costlier than Skoda cluth to replace after 10 years. Thinking wise! Only issue if any core engine parts damaged/ gone... that's the head-ache to spend huge $$.. And the probability is least 🤞

I am also having Triber but manual. We don’t see any lag in manual version. I don’t completely agree with the performance comments on Triber that it ll satisfy only users who were driving 800 cc vehicles. I ve been using Audi A4 sports earlier which is incomparable to any 1.5 liter vehicles in speed and pickup. However l like the value Triber provides for the cost. Triber is a family car and we never push our car to sports mode when we travel with kids and elders. So it is not right to compare the family car with high performance engine cars. Kia carens and Ertiga are the close match both which are even not very good at very quick pickup. For the price point which we pay Triber is completely of more value. So the slow pickup of 1 liter engine is not at all a issue, actually it is better in giving good mileage to the car.

I am a Skoda Kushaq user completing my 30,000km. i am happy on service. They charged me Rs.5500 for first service and Rs. 8000 approx for second service.
On mileage i am easily getting 15-16Kmpl on highway.
What else should we expect.

Skoda, vw from the first itself costly thaan, but people buy it for it's driving dynamics. So we have a rapid 1.6tdi done 1.5lakh kms now , we spent around 50k for injector failure at 48k kms, but not much issues later. That's why kushaq or taigun still sells around 2k every month. This is not only for Skoda, vw this applies to all german brands, I don't think they will leave India any soon
What was the issue you faced in injectors?
@@avinash8186 injector failure, and the reason they gave us was fuel quality issue which made our injector to fail .

I would choose elevate for 1 engine Sema, 2 build 3 it's handling, so elevate gets the basics right, but creta seltos gives you features but build question that till now, as for the 1.5 from hyundai or even elevate if you push it mileage drop aga than seiyum

Last Friday Xtrail and other Nissan wrapped 5 seater suv is noted in chennai to Vellore’s highway
The reason why i bot a preworshipped skoda rapid with 1.0tsi AT even at the availability of virtus /slavia is vw and skoda decided to play to the tunes of indian customers and hence the compromise. The last models of vento / rapid with 1.0tsi torque converter is the best of build quality rudimentary features latest engine reliable AT (compared to dsg) with a good fe on highways. Only let down is usual problems with rapid like the warping of rotors rotary knob on steering wheel breaking and abs wheel speed sensor going kaput. If u need a compac/ decent handling sedan used rapid / vento still makes a good sense compared to new hatchbacks that are expensive and makes no sense. Just my 2 cents.
Vw / skoda / mg in city 8-10km
Honda in city - 13-14km
Maintenance
Vw / skoda is 8-10k normal service
Honda is 5-6k normal service

Honda is winner

@gs auto motives during 2012 I met an accident with my dad's Vento same case roll over 3 times n six people inside with my friends n am lucky to b alive is bcuz of d sturdy build quality Bro n none of d Air bag deployed so it happens but v r proud owner of VW n now also v have a VW Passat seriously best brand wen compared to all others. U may say service bill is high but v have clocked 1.20lak kms in Passat till today car is been only done oil change regularly n no major works in anything so it's on how u maintain d car n use its not d bill that destroys d brand it's d ppl who don't know to maintain a German brand well 🤷🏽♂️

I own Rapid Automatic MC edition - 2020 piece... No issues with engine... Definitely reliable & mileage is decent... City 12-13 & Highway 15-16 KMPL.

invicto having the warranty around only 40k km for 2 years. for taxi purpose having this warranty is might be a bad thing for me, when compared to mahindra 3 years 1L KMS will be good on comparison. i enquired the service technician from nexa for 20k kms general service the ac cabin filter costs around 5200 inr for alpha plus varient. service cost around 13 for labour free service

You guys are promoting a plastic car (Honda brand). I used Honda and threw it within 2-years. I own the German beast viz., VW POLO GT TSI. I am a proud owner. Also, my personal view is that majority of coimbatoreans have critical negative reviews about cars. While this serves the buyers, please be considerate to the positive features of any automobile. Nissan is a pathetic brand. Renault is not doing well. Check KIWID owner's complaints. Pathetic they are. I will NEVER dream to own any other brands other than the German & selective Japanese models. In my personal view, none others and sadly including the Indian giants do not match the build quality and safety of German made cards. Volvo from Sweden is an exception though.
