Translink Ulsterbus Switch Solo EV 0033 (Route 319a)

Hi all! Welcome back!
A few months back saw the commissioning of these Switch Solo EV’s for use in Coleraine.
There are currently 6 members of the fleet (0030 - 0035) and they mainly see use on Coleraine’s Town Services and the Giant’s Causeway 477.
In this video we take a spin on Solo EV 0033 on route 319a to the Mall and back.
Despite my disliking for the preceding Optare Versas, I don’t mind these wee vehicles. They were smooth, comfortable and quite speedy for an Optare/Switch!

It’s a fully electric vehicle. Translink do have hybrid Optares (00** numbered) and I have to admit, they have a nice Voith gearbox built into them.
