The way he bullied the defender and had the courage to take on the shot in such a tight angle. The strikers we have now are either too weak or too slow. We need a striker with all abilities because in Chelsea football no matter the manager. Most times our strikers are left isolated so we need a costa esque kind of striker
As much as I admire Conte’s work at Chelsea, him letting Diego Costa go was undoubtedly one of the worst decisions ever. It’s been 4 years since Costa left and we are yet to find his successor.
Problem is that people forget how that very same summer Conte arrived, Costa promised he'd stay and fight for Chelsea only to request a transfer to Atleti in the last week of the transfer market. Then in the winter he asked to be let go to China in a mega money transfer (midway through our title challenging year) - so let me ask people this - do we want players who fight for the badge and for Chelsea FC? Or players who'd rather get away regardless of the club's ability to replace them in last minute deals etc. - Courtois and the like. Having said that, after Drogba left, Diego has been our best forward since. I, like many others, wish things worked out and he kept bringing us goals. But let's not start blaming one individual for not wanting to deal with this behaviour anymore.
@@FallHac In Conte’s first season things were already starting to deteriorate, the China move that you’re talking about was bcs Costa and Conte fell out and as a result Costa was dropped. Idk maybe they reconciled after that incident and Costa was back in the lineup again. We ended the season as Champions and during the summer Conte “texted” not even face to face mate, that Costa wasn’t in his plans and that he’s free to find another club. Diego was no saint he was a troublesome bloke but he gave his 100% on the pitch and scored goals for us. I feel Conte should’ve handled the situation differently but again it’s just my opinion.

Quite the opposite, we had an amazing player who never felt comfortable with us and who wanted to leave us for either his "home" - Atleti or even to China - in pursuit of money. And also his attitude was a problem and probably didn't make him easy to manage. Not even back at his club with Simeone, you can't say that it was all sunshine and games. It was rocky. That although doesn't diminish his importance for us. Best Chelsea striker since Drogba.
Since Drogba left chelsea we never truy found a real replacemet apart from costa. he was brave, strong, dangerous. Since costa left chelsea has no dangerous killer striker. Strikers like Drogba, Costa, Aurgo are very rare with their dangerous ability.
Can we get our conte, Costa, hazard, matic, Willian, Pedro and David Luiz back 😭 . . After watching Morata and werner's performances I just started feeling how much he gave to our club and what we did simple disrespected him.

Diego Costa is exactly the type of striker Chelsea need. Tall, strong, aggressive, lethal, terrifying for his opponents, full of confidence and smart in his moves without the ball. The best striker since Didier Drogba (which was the same kind of striker). If a player like this should emerge soon, he should be the top target of Chelsea and the club absolutely must keep him as long as possible.
I miss this Agression And ability to actually do something in Timo. We really missing striker of this kind. Although. Timo Will come good. Still have faith in him somehow.
