@@lloydmoodie3985 2014/15 Costa is one of the greatest strikers I’ve ever seen him and Fabregas arguably won us the title that season just a year after we blew it late on in Mourinho’s first season back at the club. We were crying out for a striker that summer to put us over the top and we sold Lukaku to make way for a proven goal scorer in Costa. My favourite Chelsea player of all time.

Broja is the closest thing to Costa for Chelsea’s future, he’s physical, fast on the break, can use his feet well and has proven some lethal finishes but is still only 20 and can keep improving if Tuchel uses him next season, good fit for PL 💙

We used to to have quality wingers like shurlle , willian , hazard and pedro plus creative players like cesc and oscar. The only players in our squad who could play in that team is sterling, kk, silva, and r james. kova cant bench any of the midfielders.
All the commentary on his goals made it more beautiful.. Diego was enjoyable to watch.. the passion he also showed when he scored .. He was built for Chelsea 💙💙💙

13:07 had always been one of my favourite Costa goals. That game we didn't look like scoring and he fought for the loose ball and scored in the last few mins of the game. Such a superb striker.
Drogba, Costa, Giroud. They had that kind of killer instinct, agression that only elite forwards have. They could contribute to the game immediately when Chelsea need them most and did it perfectly. Unfortunately we have no such attacking strentgh nowadays. Waiting for the next transfer window. Bring Broja back.

Difference between Costa and Lukaku is that Costa brilliantly able to adapt to the way how his team plays, his style of play is different in Atletico and in Chelsea, whereas Lukaku is still daydream that he is still in Inter, and very lazy to make many plays which causes so much slowness whenever he plays….

You can also see the evolution of our tactics throughout costa's development. First the goals come from swarming the box. Then from counter attack. Next, goals come from having only him inside the box surrounded by players in every directions. What a roller coaster of tactics that we have 😃
