Westside is more expensive cooler weather however it's more crowded in population and traffic. Lived in both side and I prefer the San Fernando Valley. Places like Northridge Porter Ranch and the Woodland Hills are nicer areas in the valley.

West side all the way!! You can breathe much better. Living in Reseda was a no thanks. That was my experience in the 90's.

I like the westside bc you get the ocean weather, but the valley recently has some stunning houses/apartments.
