The Springfield Armory Hellcat and the S&W Shield Plus are my 2 absolute favorites. Thanks for the show Dan. Stay Safe out there. 😊🇺🇸😎👍. Beretta Sr.
Much appreciated Beretta Sr. You too sir
Excellent choice but lets not forget the Mossberg MC2sc.
Yeah cause that crossbar safety is great...😮
Thats an optional model tbh..you can get one without it ...but it is stupid@@Logan2070
@@Logan2070you can get it without the safety
Mine was not very accurate shot 4 inches low at 7 yards. Got rid of it after 1 range session
I got one from someone for 2 boxes of 357 I like the size
Masada slim is my favorite carry gun. Mine had a Holosun 407k 👍🏻
Security 9 compact is my current carry that thing shoots like a dream 💪🏿💪🏿💪🏿
I love my Masada 9s and the full side Masada as well they are great guns. Just a note the Masada 9s takes CZ75 mags which I bought a CZ75BD the same time I got the 9s so win win. 😁
Well said man
That's cool. Didn't know that.
Walther PPS is my fav....rarely mentioned...
pps is a great gun as is the ccp but they are overshadowed because everybody wants those higher capacity newest options.
I'm still carrying my Walther PPS, even though I've added a Hellcat to my arsenal. Just can't let go of the single stack for appendix carry.
PPS M2 light and manageable. You never have to worry about printing.
@@Jimbo77696-- Or never worry about wearing it out because that little gun is built like a tank compared to just about anything in that size catagory.
True as well as other single stacks
So many good choices for Carry Pistols these days!
Very true jwc
I was at the range today and the guy in the lane next to me was shooting a Bersa 380. He said he has carried it for years and loves it
Lol.....I have a Shield plus, CZ Rami, Taurus G3C, Sig P238, Beretta 84bb.......What's my carry gun? Bersa thunder CC.
Very compact and concealed. 8+1 is decent capacity. Excellent trigger. It's been super reliable. I shoot it lights out accurate. Also got it for $200.
I've heard that too Andy
My daily carry is a bersa bp9cc. Great gun with an awesome trigger. I got it used for 175$.
Bersa is a good affordable firearm.
Bersa Thunder-my first carry gun.
I'm Still Carrying My Walther PPS!
Have that one myself
I'll keep carrying my 365 x macro TACOPS ty. I have the so called full size Masada. Great gun. Better then my Glock. Told my local gun guy to put me on his contact list for the Masada slim. That was 5 months ago. He says he can't get many of them in. If he does it's usually only one or two and I'm far down the list.😢
A lot is going on in Isreal
I've been thinking about getting a full size Masada... I think I will.
Good stuff Chubby
Love my Masada Slim and I also am running the Holosun EPS Carry
Love it John
My wife carries the PPQ SC. It's one of her favorites.
Great to hear Steve
I pocket carry the original s&w bodyguard 380 with the integrated insight lazer mine was made in 2010 i think lol.
Same. I have lots of guns, but the Bodyguard works with shorts, coveralls, jeans, etc. I keep it loaded with Underwood Extreme Penetrator - I do not trust any hollow point to expand in a small .380.
Thanks Cody
The Springfield Hellcat is the rave in my area and shooting range, next, the P365. I have not noticed anyone with the IWI. My go to for CCW is the Shield Plus. (S&W fanboy)
The Springfield Hellcat and S&W Shield Plus are both Excellent!! Great Picks! 😊🇺🇸😎👍. Beretta Sr.
All my family and friends run sig 365, Walter and a couple Glocks. Only one lady runs a hellcat. In the group I train with to each their own.
@@andershilmo1866 I hear ya, I own or have owned all those handguns, more than 135 handguns in all 😂 to be honest. I just prefer the Hellcat over most small pistols. Everyone is a little different in their preference, and that is good for business and consumers.
Beretta Sr.
@@BERETTA9mmUSA 135 wow
Nice I would lean towards the p10s or Masada slim if I wasn’t in the 365 game. Why might I ask do you prefer the hellcat!
Got the masada full size & its awesome will have to get the slim! Thanks dan!
All great options. The Hellcat and Shield Plus have found themselves as strong preferences in my rotation.
Carried the Masada S for over a year. Did me well, but due to Masada’s lack of innovation surrounding grip modules, etc. I now carry the GX4 carry. 2+ rounds and a rail, hard to beat.
Thanks Dan, great video
Nice list. I added a Walther P99c AS to my carry rotation and find that it's turning into one of my favorites. Very similar to the Walther PPQ sub compact but with DA/SA trigger.
P99s are totally slept on.
I love that P99 platform
Wow. The Walther is my daily carry, the grand power Q100 is what I took my CWP class with. Bersa BP9 CC is in my console right now. And my Masada is kinda new to me but learned to shoot a red dot with it. Great stuff!
I agree. Both are great choices.
👍👍Thanks Dan, some good ons Dan but I don’t think I’ve ever seen any of them in a store where I live.
Yo Danno, thanks for showing those nice looking (and)shooting guns.
Fun review. Thanks 😊.
Thank you, Dan. You are correct.
Much appreciated Bob
No matter what I’ve loved and purchased over the years, I always come back to the Sig 238. I’ve been trying the Hellcat Pro over the last 9 months but still can’t beat the Sig as far as concealment and comfort.
That Hellcat looks nice
Great topic, Dan.!
Thanks bud
I have the full-sized Masada. Excellent handgun at a reasonable price. Thanks again, Dan.
Good stuff Guy
I love my Masada slim. I haven't put the EPS carry on it yet, but that's the plan.
You will love it
Excellent choice, I agree.
Thanks Bob
I agree; the Masada Slim is an amazing gun. I have been wanting to carry it for a while, but have not had any luck finding a holster. I literally just found and ordered one the other day from Muddy River Tactical. I hope it allows me to add the slim into my carry rotation!
Great video n info, what do you think about bersa thunder plus or the ruger security 380 both 14 plus one of 380, can't decide between tha two, lean towards tha ruger tho, none tha less keep up tha awesome work dan 👍🏽
The Ruger is much lighter also. So that’s a bonus for daily carry. Hope that helped.
Great video!
I have and love a Canik Tp-9sa, but you overlooked the Tisas PX-9 - great value for less coin
I got my masada slim on my hip while im watching this video.. awesome. Its a perfect mid-size gun.
Love it doubletap
Great option. I would buy & carry if I needed one. Thank you.
Good stuff G M
Sig Sauer P365 XMacro TACOPS and the Canik TP9 Elite SC are my two favorites.
Thanks V
It is my EDC. The trigger is amazing but the best part is takedown process. They designed it in a way that you will need to take out your mag and check the chamber. That is idiot proof takedown. Accuracy with Ruger Ready Dot is phenomenal.
I need to try the Ready Dot
PPQ SC was solid and shot great for me. I've over on to PDP-F 3.8 with newer updates and optic available. I am really looking forward to Grand Power's DA/SA becoming more available in the US... with the new updates, I'm all in for that. The IWI is on my radar as well.
I have a PPQ SC and it is a great gun....the PPQ/PDP are very ergonomic.
Thank you for this interesting video. There a two very popular models, even If they don't make a lot of buzz on the internet:
- the Ruger LC380, which was discontinued before the arrival of the Security380 is back in the catalog. It seems that Ruger needs both to cover the market.
- the S&W M&P 380 Shield EZ is also very popular and S&W cannot make enough of them.
I am sure that there are other ones
Well said Marie
Masada slim and Mossberg Mc2sc are the 2 best carry guns around $400. Would def recommend.
I carry the new keltec p15 and I really like it, but it’s not for everyone.
I would love to check out the Kel-Tec
@@TheFirearmGuy I've got a ton of videos on it on my other channel.

I looked a Grand power and really liked it , it was sitting in a pawn shop new in the box , the Bersa was at the same pawn shop also new ... anything IWI puts out is definitely worth looking at
I have this pistol. Whenever my friends and family shoot it, they are always impressed. My good friend actually got rid of his P365 and got a Masada Slim. Now if IWI would put a little more backing behind it. Mag spacers for using longer CZ75 mags (one of the best parts of this pistol) would be awesome.
If only they had used the CZ75 mag pattern for their full sized Masada…ugh.
Don't like a light trigger with no wall on a defensive handgun, like that Bersa. The Masada looks very interesting though.
The ppq sc hasn’t been forgotten, just overshadowed by the PDP F. All the same dimensions as the PPQ SC except the grip length. 15+1 and its optics ready.
have never even seen the ppq subcompact, and it is not like i have been living under a rock.
I hear ya Michael
I want a Masada Slim, but haven't come across one. The PPQ SC LE was the first handgun I ever bought. Still have it! Though I've switched to hammer fired guns for CCW. I now rotate between a CZ P07 or my LTT PX4 CC.
Stoeger str 9sc is literally one of the best Glock “clones” I’ve seen it’s at an affordable price and it’s got a decent trigger and runs flawless
I can't forget the PPQ SC, its on my side almost daily 😊. Main piece in rotation
Good stuff! 13th
Very true Dan , nobody talk about them anymore , underrated and some of them are old. Thanks for revisiting this guns .
Yes the mossy mc2sc. My everyday carry.
It is kind of funny but a friend of mine's wife started carrying and bought a Walther PDP F and I have to say that I was beyond impressed by that pistol. I think it would make a great summer carry option as it didn't print any more than his Shield Plus or Hellcat Pro. I will say this about it though, the ergos are far superior to those of the Shield Plus and Hellcat Pro; oh and that trigger is simply stellar.
Your review erased my usual buyer’s remorse immediately after a purchase. Bought the Slim online yesterday for 414.00. Can’t wait for it to arrive.
You will love it Jack
Where did you buy the Slim at?
Im stil loving my old SR9c. I tried Nano years ago its was junk sold it 3 weeks later
605 Polyprotector 357 5 shot light as it gets
IWI is a good maker... I didn't know they made a carry... I have the Jericho that thing is outstanding... thanks for the info.
Walther PPQ is a good gun. Thanks for the info
Nice one
Thank you
Thanks Floyd
Can you do an indepth review of the Taurus TH45
I carry a PPQ Gen 1. Carried it every day since they dropped. XS bigdots.
Very cool Perry
Had the Masada Slim and while I really did like the feel of the gun I could not shoot it any where as well as my 365 or my current EDC the Shield Plus. Also, the trigger on the Slime was extremely heavy when compared to the Sig and M&P.
Any chance you can do a review of the Tisas PX-9 Carry? Thanks!
I think that the Bersa BP9CC is one of those pistols that is so wrongfully overlooked. It has a stock trigger that IMO is only rivaled by the Canik Mete and Walther PDP stock triggers. It is surprisingly light, with a clean break, and the reset is shorter than most.
My buddy bought one at a gun show the better part of 7 maybe 8 years ago stupidly cheap for new in the box and I was like why? Well after a few hours at the range I understood why. It is a thoroughbred disguised as a Shetland pony. It is shockingly fast, quite accurate given the sight radius, super light weight, easy to conceal, and most of all is totally reliable. I have put probably close to 2k rounds through it myself on range visits over its lifetime and I am sure he has 3 if not 4 times that much through it himself and unless it has developed a gremlin has never experienced a failure at least not while I was shooting it, and it has been fed a smorgasbord of random ammo to include home reloads.
In a nutshell, it is nothing fancy or special in the ways of innovation or aesthetics, but it is a sleeper of a performer that I feel that even at full MSRP is a fantastic value.
Guilty! Forgot about the PPQ SC
I have seen the reviews of the latest Grand Power pistols on the GB Guns CZcams channel, but I'm just waiting on the optics ready versions to hit the market as it is rare to see a hammer fired pistol with an optics ready slide that is actually affordable.
I agree. I have the original X-Calibur
I’d get one if it had a rail and more aftermarket support. A modular chassis is cool, but it’s useless if you don’t have any options to swap out(grips, slides, barrels, etc.). I think it would be much more popular if they would make a 2.0 with those features.
I confess I’m a victim of well paid/skilled marketing campaigns. So it’s nice to hear of lower cost options even though I’ll likely never get around to them.
Thanks Eric
I always like the Walther P99C. However Walther discontinued it as well as the other manufacturers who made clones. I liked the decocker button option but with todays handgun market, the button is in the way of an optic cut, therefore it's not likely coming back.
Walther is currently running a limited production on the P99
Masada slim great pistol shoot like a bigger gun I think it's cz sp01 wags will fit it
Solid point man
Nice
Nice batch of pistols
Thanks bro
Of all mentioned, the Q100 is the most underrated. GP is awesome.
Exactly true
I got the Masada for $360 if you a veteran security license law enforcement or state or federal certain listed jobs this is the cheapest great weapon if you qualify for this price on the planet
Is the Masada Slim the one that can use cz 75 mags or is that another IWI pistol?
Problem is holsers and support stuff. And of course everything has to be Optic ready now days.
Truth - thanks man
Great handgun 👍🏼
Thanks Daniel
Too many guns to talk about, it's a good problem to have.
Oh I never forgot about the Walther PPQ SC all right. I just could never find it.
Thanks Joseph
A good looking pistol. 🙂👍
Where can you find a IWI Masada S? I've been looking for months?
Love that gun. But love the taurus gx4 carry better
Thanks Leo
The PPQ SC is my most carried gun.
Too cool defensedad
This is my everyday carry great gun
Great to hear
Shoots as flat as a G19, handles as well as the Shield Plus, and costs like a Canik. Only drawback is no rail, for those who absolutely need one.
Thanks for the comparison!
Love IWI guns
Huh, I've actually seen a fair number of people talk about the Masada Slim. Not so much the others though...
If its a modern double stack polymer gun its relevant
On the Masada slim is that the eps or eps carry dot on it?
EPS "enclosed pistol sight" carry
I carry an LCP where I live because it's drama free. Glock 23 when I have to go anywhere near the Twin Cities.
Good stuff man
Ruger LCR 327 Federal Magnum
Funny, I have the full-size Masada. No one talks about that one either.
Truth
I own one, but the holster support is nonexistent. I do have one, but it is uncomfortable. Wishing G-Code or Veder would come out with one.
You’re right I forgot about several of those other ones that you showed us but I’ve never owned an IWI Firearm. I think I’m a need to try one maybe your videos giving me an idea for my next Gun
Great to hear James
Kahr 45
You can use CZ 75 mags in the Slim...... The only con is the takedown.....that little POS gate/pin.
Thanks talaga
Dan the man
