A lot of people in the U.S. don't realize these long pots are amazing. We play on 8 foot tables and make full length shots all the time, but just moving to a nine foot table makes it a lot tougher. Can only imagine how tough these 12 foot tables are.
The pockets in pool are huge compared to snooker. Not only that the pockets are rounded so close shots are thrown back out rather than still being accepted. Snooker plays are ok at Pool, Pool players tend to be a bit shit at snooker.

Not to mention the pockets aren’t buckets in snooker. American pool is a complete children’s game in comparison.

Tactical Chunder I agree, but the ball to pocket size is about the same in both. American pool balls are larger than snooker balls, along with the pockets. Though in snooker the pocket jaws are rounded, making near misses almost impossible to drop

If you see Ronnie's shot into the green pocket at a different angle, you can see the ball swerve slightly. Even at the angle in this video you can sort of tell it's not going to go in until the very last foot

22 good shots, but not 22 great shots and certainly not "top great" shots. If you look at the long-pots in this video, Perrie Mans potted shots like those as a matter of course in his game.
The shot made by Selby had an element of luck, shouldn't have been at 1. Still it was a great shot... My favourite was number 5 by Trump
