I was a regular visitor to the Covent Garden area, in and around the time you were working at X Zone. Sadly X Zone is one of the few places in that area I did not visit, much to my regret now. I was a massive fan of Club Boesche, and went there many times, and also liked Catz, and have great memories from both gogos. Club Boesche for me was the best gogo in Pattaya at the time, with some absolute stunners working there. Great to see your photos from that era.
Well….. your photos proved it…… the girls were much thinner and slimmer back then. Oh bring back those days (from an old guy who isn’t as thin or slim any longer either). LOL. 😂
It was nice watching you reminisce. I haven't seen frozen drink machines. With Pattaya being so hot, I think they'd be everything. Are they popular in 2024? Do 'jello shots' exist in Pattaya?
The owner of the drinks machines was such a horrid bloke. He used to come to the bar and tell ME I wasn’t selling enough frozen margaritas. Like the bar I was managing was only there for his convenience. The girls didn’t like the drinks as they couldn’t drink it quickly.
Interesting, because I have photos from both Secrets and Babydolls, but not sure whether I want to do stories about that. I think other people are better better places to tell those stories.
Great vid, Pattaya is an incredible city but from your pics and others I've seen from the early-mid 2000's I feel that I missed out on the best years of Pattaya; compared to today the girls from that era were by leagues much prettier, no crazy chest/back tats, all the girls were LEAN with NO pudgy girls mixed in unlike today. I believe if any of these heavier girls wanted to work in a bar back then they'd be given a mop & bucket, instead of a thong.

I had some of my best times ever in X-Zone...dropped a load of money but was treated like a king. Those were the days 555
You can still get good service these days in the right bars.

It was definitely number one for a while. Till they left it to a Thai to run and it was closed on 6 months.
excellent stuff, found it really interesting. only downside, no dustbins, road works, car parks or soi doys.

Plenty of pudgy girls, we just didn’t take photos of them. Girls about the same standard as yesteryear, maybe better because of plastic surgery.
It’s going to take some verbal gymnastics to describe that place.
Have mixed memories of this place.
