That middle solo with the "woman tone" that begins at 3;56 is still one of the coolest riffs I've ever heard. You make it look easy to play! Anyone who doesn't think Mark Farner's solos are original or creative should hear THAT!

I had tried working up" Inside Looking Out" on the Red Album and just could not learn that solo part where he starts doing the pull offs going up the neck so finally gave up on trying to do the song. Thanks again!!
@@jbl5050 my dilemma is whether to leave it alone or add the masking tape and spray paint like Mark did to quiet down the acoustic feedback! Maybe water colors?

Hi. If I'm understanding the chord you're asking about after the E minor (Things are changing for the better) chorus part it's a D major to a C major. Just barring 2, 3,& 4 with my pinky on 7th fret and 5 on the 5th fret. Hope this helps.
