That area is called Burgos Circle (where Forbestown is). Had a feeling this would be the spot you would be talking about.
You already have sun burn skin. You must used sunblock lotion for your protection as you walk so much specially in the afternoon where sun os really hot.

Seriously Zane if you're filming this vlog this time in May, its crazy how you can walk around for hours tolerating this heat. ** For reference, temperature in Manila during summer ranges from 35c to 40C. The humidity can easily drain you with the extreme heat outdoors.
Americans love the heat. Trust me.

I was just walking late afternoon yesterday at BGC and I didn't mind the weather hehe Where I'm from in Nevada, the heat is painful on the skin at the height of summer that I'd rather take the humid heat here than the painful dry heat in the desert 😅

New upcoming mega City like BGC is the Aseana located near Mall of Asia in Parañaque and Clark City in Pampanga 1 HR Drive away outside Manila. Pampanga is said to be the culinary capital of the Philippines
I am always in BGC but I still find myself hooked with your videos😅 Try visiting the Greenway Park near Forbes Town, it's sort of a secret garden in the middle of many tall buildings... you'll be pleasantly surprised! It's also a good spot to cool down from walking around given current temp😊

Who knew that laundry mat would be a challenge there in the Philippines. Lucky for us, we found a laundry mat inside the Venice Canal Mall behind Jollibee while staying at one of those Condos next to it. So yeah, that was a one expensive wash you paid.😊✌️

The place you seated at 17:50 in the video. Below that round about area is where located an 8 Olympic size swimming pool water container where waters will go in when there's alot of rainfall before it will release to the ocean. That's why there's no flood in BGC area

You should come to Forbes Town around nighttime because it's more alive and bustling... Understandable that it is going to be a bit busier because a lot more people are out and about due to the strings of bars and restaurants in that area. Staying a little longer in BGC is a great idea. Enjoying your vlogs a lot my man! Enjoy always!
I just got back stateside after staying at Uptown Parksuites for a month. I miss that place. I walked around BGC every day while I was there. I even have my Landers membership card!
Have stayed at Ascott BGC few years ago. Really loved the area and how so modern, clean and spacious it is compared to the rest of the metro.
Bgc is really one of the most visited plave by most foreghnrrs .most bloggers are living in ngc stay safe always zane and take care always.👍✌🙏😍🇵🇭welvome to the php.

Hi Zane! I live in One Uptown and I was shocked how small Park Suite is. Yes it's much better here in OU, been living here for 2 years. Btw, when you rent a unit in One Uptown, make sure to check for a unit with an Inverter aircon.
For infirm people like me, that's tooooooo big a mall for me, hahahah. Thanks for the lovely tour. I've been there in BGC but never got around to have a look around properly. I hope to do it again with my niece in the future. As for your laundry, next time, ask how much PER KILO because that's how the standard question is. Enjoy the walk and thanks for another tour!

One of the vloggers that i know is also staying at Uptown BGC. BGC is really a good place to stay at.
When it Makati, stay near Washington Sycip Park or Jaime Velazquez Park. Both great areas. So different from BGC. Much quieter, but more of a local neighborhood feel

Zane, u have more options there esp when it comes to food. U try to visit dofferent provinces so u can experience the diff culture and local foods. Each provinces have different culture and food.
Just a few steps away inside BGC. There are small scale laundry HOUSE nearby along kalayaan Ave near the newly built flyover.
Its ok sir! You are in BGC! 500 peso laundry is fine as long as they do the job and u don’t have to do it. Time is precious. Its all good! Be safe!!!
Zane, u need to try the KAKAININ OR KALAMAY. U can get a good one in Bulacan and Pampanga. Hope they have other branches there in Manila. Susuie’s Cuisine, Citangs and Rositas kakanin.
BGC is a great place!… always in BGC when ever am in the Philippines
Here in our city, Marikina, laundry only costs around P200. P500 is a lot.
We have our laundry picked up and delivered same day ETA 6hrs after for only less than 300 pesos for 4kgs. They're located outside of BGC around Makati.

You took the long way to get to Forbestown. All you had to do is walk on High Street until you get to Burgos Circle, then go left and you're right at Forbestown.

Oh so you are in tower 1. we stayed in tower 2 for a week last month. It was so cheap to have meals out there. My wife and I once shared a $7 dinner. Where can you get that in the DC area?

You can ask the cleaning lady to do your laundry for a lower price…That 500 charged to you is insanely overpriced.
This. It wasn't me but I felt ripped off too, even for BGC. 500 for me is usually for 8kg and they pick it up and deliver it within 12 hrs.
7:22 BGC condo Airbnb doesn’t have in-unit washer & dryer? Hmmm you’d think that’s a pretty standard thing to have in a condo specially in BGC…
Zane are you extending your time in the 🇵🇭 or BGC? You can get visa extensions at SM Aura and Ayala Circuit Mall. They charge 1000 pesos for express. You can come back in 3 days I think and save you 1k pesos. On top of that you’ll need an ACR and it’s valid for 1 year. I can’t remember how much it cost back then. I decided to get my dual citizenships so I don’t have to pay anything anymore. You have a choice if you wanna extend for 1 month, 2 months or 6 months.
Btw…the Landers mem fee is 700 pesos however they always have a promo. I just paid mine for 400 pesos for a year. Imo it’s worth it! They also have S&R at BGC. Also like Costco and membership fee is the same. No promos 😂

Nice manila serious, you shoukd also consider visiting corregidor island a world war 2 american base, they offer a very cheap day tour at MOA that includes lunch and back and fort ferry ride for $80 all in..

For security reason, trash bin was used before for terrorism, specially in public areas. Bad actors will put bombs etc. Prevent rodents,and flies in nearby area. Many establishment use their basement floor for garbage storage location.

$55 a night seems quite expensive. I think you mentioned before that it would cost around $560 a month for a 1 yr contract.
That is a nice place. That place is big enough for 1 person . Try to be more friendly and approachable to the locals. As if u r hesitant to talk to the locals. When buying in the lical markets for the masses u ask always for discount. Me i always ask for discount when am still living there. Friend, u r in BGC, so the rate is higher. Atleast u have nany options in food bec many places have good international cuisine. Just keep in exploring the place.

The bin thing is inspired by japan and korea, theyre strict in segregation. You have to bring your trash at home or 7-11 where trash segregation is organized

Try Legaspi village, blogger mike of making it happen. Paid 23K a month. Big with one bedroom and a much wider living room and bigger kitchen also.
500 for laudry is very expensive. You can find cheaper somehwere in pembo near market but it's far from your location though.
Also, if i will rent airbnb i would choose with washer&dryer.
Zane, u eat in a bigger chinese resto. The food is much better and the italian big pizzas in malls and other bug restos are good. Tty other food Zane not only American food.

Regarding your Laundry if you think that you're being rift off i don't think so, first u have to realise that you're in a high end place in the country meaning the laundry business pays a lot for a rent so enable for them to sustain the rent and pay their employees they don't have a choice but charge you higher than normal. Usually the amount of laundry u have is like only 120 pesos outside BGC and Makati.

For anything you need, just ask a security guard. They know all the nooks and cranny of the place you are staying.
