Cebu & Davao are two best cities that you can visit with your travels in the Philippines and also if you plan to visit the best beaches in Cebu then you are in the right track. However Ayala Center in Cebu is just a small version of Ayala Center in Makati and if you want to see the best ultra modern city that will be BGC in Taguig a small version of New York and as beautiful and comparable to Singapore, also visit Venice Grand Canal Mall in Mckinley.And once your back in Metro Manila try to visit as well Mall of Asia one of the biggest malls in Asia and in the World. Have a nice safe travels and More Power with your adventures in the Philippines...👍 There's also Best lechon Restaurants in Manila. 🐖😊

House of Lechon is my favorite among the many lechon 'chainstores'. But, the best lechons in Cebu for me are the ones that are cooked during hometown/province fiestas.

I'm originally from Cubao, Quezon City...born n raised. Moved to Chicago in 1988. I wanna lived there again but I collect Hotwheels and I don't know now if I can live without a Walmart or Target 😅

For us locals the best Lechon in the city is within the city limits. Some awesome ones can be found in cities like Talisay, Liloan and Carcar, even Mandaue has killer ones too. Get them near the streets and markets outdoors. GL!

In the house of lechon it doesn't look too crispy and it is too expensive very small portion for the price but I can understand since the ambiance is what people are paying for
I'm living near IT Park/ JY mall Cebu ~ BGC is $1500 to $2000 USD a month and IT Park is 1/2 that price ~ I am Renting a 1 BR apartment hotel condo for 20,000 a month with free elec, cable and WiFi with western bed, small kitchen. All in at around $260 USD ~ I'm living well on $700 to $800 USD a month with my GF looking over IT Park two blocks away north ~ And your reading a comment from a guy who can afford anything with $10,000 USD a month coming in ~ So I would take IT Park and Lapu Lapu City over BGC any day??

I'm Filipino American and think Bali Babi Guling is the best roasted suckling pig that you can get. Primarily because of the sambal, different cuts and textures they have and overall flavors. It's much better than Filipino lechon in my opinion. I have had lechon in Spain and Puerto Rico as well, and I think Philippines is better than those, but not on the level of Babi Guling.

Anthony Bourdain went to Pampanga first and then to Cebu. It was in Cebu where he referred to lechon as the "Best pig, ever!".
@@lamplighter2012 it's specifically zubuchon and it's not all of cebu lechon. 🙄 Don't spread misinformation and besides it's noteworthy to say that Anthony Bourdain does not have a chance to try other lechoneria in the country. It was just sensationalize so much.

When Anthony Bourdain went to Cebu, a blogger named Joel Binamira served Anthony the lechon that he would refer to as the "best pig, ever". He mentioned that twice during that lunch. That was in October 2008. Joel Binamira, encouraged by the very good feedback, started selling lechon every Sunday, just 2 lechons at first. Then 5 lechons the next Sunday, which were all gone in 30 minutes. Seeing all these. Joel started Zubochon one year later, late 2009.
